- First look at and service of the 2004 Chevy Cruze. Same car as the Holden Cruze or Suzuki Ignis. A mighty 1.3 litre FWD shopping cart.

Thanks very much for the vid. Just bought one of these fir my niece.
That car sure was neglected since it hadn't been serviced in three years. But with you working on it, the little car will live for a few more years :) Have a good one Jonathan!
+stuzman it started off pretty rough but scrubbed up nicely. Cheers Terry!
He obviously didn't watch John Cardogan on AutoExpertTV...That guy cracks me up,
+ZIGgassedUP that guys a plonker. Hates nice euro cars and diesels and anything else interesting. Hang on I see why you might like him 😂
Ah yes, the cabin filter. Everyone forgets the cabin filter. Old American V8's are dogs but the new ones are wicked fast. Well, depending on the car of course. Nice work!
+wyattoneable that was definitely the worst cabin filter I've seen! I only want a V8 for a short time, I don't need the speed or the fuel bills. Cheers Wyatt
Your right about the fuel bills. I like driving my 55 Chevy truck (with a Camaro 350 ) but it get like 12 MPG. Ouch. Thank God our gas prices are still under $3.00.
+wyattoneable we pay US$5.70 per US gallon 😥
Suzuki engines well engineered and easy to service . Nice looking IPA and (Oh that's good) says it all :) I have never heard of buying a used auto unseen over the internet. Hum sounds like fun. HAHA
+STEVE ROB I've had big problems finding basic parts for Suzukis over the years. I'm happy to take a gamble on sight unseen cars depending on what they are. That's how I got the Golf for $900 😎
My Chrysler 3.8 has the oil filter mounted similar to that cruze. I think that's a good design as you said you can prefill the filter so there's less time with no oil pressure.
How about a Hemi. Diesels are good two2 I say that from driving trucks. Good vid Mate.
+MostlymoparIH that was an easy car to work on but I'm glad it's out of the workshop. I don't know too much about the Hemisphere, I will have to do some reading. I haven't driven too many trucks although they do make a cool noise
2:16 I hate filters that do that. I just pop a glove on and keep turning that sucker out. Good video.
+Mr.Mister it is annoying but gotta get the job done. Cheers!
Hi im from Australia... Good video sir..
I just wondering is 2005 holden cruze 1.5L 4×4 use the same 5 speeds manual gearbox as Suzuki ignis?
Thank you
That's a good question and I'm not too sure of the answer, sorry.
Hi Badgertronix team, I have the 2006 Model of this car and would like to know at what frequency the fuel filter and gearbox oil should be replaced. Regards
My sister from Perth was here recently... she told me about "Beer Economies". Is that how you find your customers or do you just stick to looking after friend's cars? Personally, I no longer work for beer (friend's / relative's form of payment)... I still drink it though! =)
+Thomas EXOVCDS I only look after friends' cars and I never charge anything. I don't want the responsibility or comebacks. I do happily accept beer donations though. A beer economy sounds awesome though!
nice vid mate good info
+bodgit and leggit garage pimp my shopping cart - new series coming soon 😂
Badgertronix hahaha
Where are the leads and spark plugs
What kind of oil should I use? Last time i bought 10w50 synthetic
Mine when sitting in idle drops revs and feels like its going to stall.when driving it sometimes does it and doesnt feel like enough power.just had fuel pump and filter replaced. Still doing it. Any idea what it might be?
I had this problem. Turned out to drive belt slipping affecting the alternator and water pump. When it slips it stops water pumping into the throttle body a closing it briefly to reduce air intake(choke).
like all used car there's always something that seems to need fixing one way or another
+DriveShaft Drew very true. Always best to budget on some repairs when you buy a used car. Cheers!
Hi,can you tell me where the fuel filter is located ? Thanks
In the tank I believe
Suzuki always made great "little" engines but they need service.
+txsviking they are lightweight little cars and great when they work but always seem to cause me headaches. Cheers
It should run pretty much trouble free on a regular maintenance schedule. I guess I have taken having v8 for granted. Never thought about not having one!!
+T.O.A.G it has scrubbed up well. A much nicer car than when we started. Cheers
