@@Bitchslapper316 "The treaty said nothing about defending them. It said they would support them at the UN security council" - No, read below, and specifically the second paragraph, last sentence. Budapest Memorandum: In exchange for giving up its nuclear arsenal, Ukraine initially sought legally binding guarantees from the US that it would intervene should Ukraine’s sovereignty be breached. But when it became clear that the US was not willing to go that far, Ukraine agreed to somewhat weaker - but nevertheless significant - politically binding security assurances to respect its independence and sovereignty which guaranteed its existing borders. China and France subsequently extended similar assurances to Ukraine, but did not sign the Budapest Memorandum. But the meaning of the security assurances was deliberately left ambiguous. According to a former US diplomat who participated in the talks, Steven Pifer, it was understood that if there was a violation, there would be a response incumbent on the US and the UK. And while that response was not explicitly defined, Pifer notes that: “there is an obligation on the United States that flows from the Budapest Memorandum to provide assistance to Ukraine, and […] that would include lethal military assistance”. edit/additional info: Russia first broke its commitments under the Budapest Memorandum in 2014, with its annexation of Crimea and aggression in eastern Ukraine. The international response at the time was lacklustre - although the US and the UK did subsequently step up their efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s armed forces through training and provision of lethal defensive arms. At the time, a committee of the UK House of Lords noted that: As one of the four signatories of the Budapest Memorandum (1994), which pledged to respect Ukraine’s territorial integrity, the UK had a particular responsibility when the crisis erupted. The government has not been as active or as visible on this issue as it could have been.
I am fascinated by the Kremlin claiming or admitting an attack on Moscow from 300 miles away. It means they are more concerned with scaring the Russian people into fighting than they are about extremely embarrassing military and air defenses that would lead to discouraging Russians.

Probably not even armed, the explosion is from the anti-aircraft missile that shot it down. But.. it was shot down at the last second, that system should track anything incoming and take it out long before it got to the Kremlin property. I think they got the idea from the FPV quad that got on the base in Belarus and damaged the RADAR airplane.
Makes no sense at all. This definitely appears like it was an obvious Orc false flag. For such a serious high profile operation, Ukrainian military would not send drones without them having military grade shielding against radio interference. Also they wouldn't send a drone all that way without knowing the exact confirmed whereabouts of the target, who it seems was not even at that location. The Orcs claim they disabled them with anti drone technology. Any drone sent that far would have at least 3 guidance systems ( radio, terrain mapping, inertia and AI vision building targeting ) and would not use radio guidance whilst flying directly over such a high value target. It's absolutely an inside operation to set up a false flag and stage the justification for an attempt themselves against Ukrainian leaders. It's laughable. The fact that they were intercepted directly over the Kremlin seems also a bit of a joke. Any serious Kremlin defence effort would have seen these drones disabled well before they reached the Kremlin. At Least within a kilometre. Clearly a primitive attempt to stage a false flag. More likely an inside job from either their own Orc theatrical company or disgruntled local partisans. The flash appeared that of a pyrotechnic firework, rather than a military grade munition. Firemen seen on the dome, just before the drone even hit. LOL A dome is known to be the strongest building structure known to man. Does not make sense to target a dome.
The camera isn't stable showing that a person is holding it, yet they don't move the camera to follow the drone and the cameraman isn't visibly shaken or surprised by the explosion.
Cnn forgetting to mention that ukraine released post stamp with burning Kremlin and a drone immediately after attack... Why they celebrating drone attack if they didn't do it?
I think the 1st clip happened after the 2nd. This explains the camerawork. There were 2 drones. CNN probably showed the better looking clip first. The drones might've been made to set fire to the flag. A small amount of flammable liquid falls both times, and the explosive power is small. People in what might be fire retardant suits are on the roof in the "1st" clip.
Hollywood had a new competitor, this is the Kremlin, except they needed to add more special effects because after this explosion the flag was not damaged, it is impossible in the explosion of the drone
Because it wasn't. It was meant to humiliate, if by Ukraine, and it was a false flag, if done by Russia. They could say, " And now we will use our nukes. Then NATO will destroy Russia.

Well, consider the information's I provide in my comment placed elsewhere here. Copy of it below. : Are CNN having breaking news regarding the evidence presented in episode 3 (last) of "Shadow war" that just aired in all the Nordic countries at the same time tonight? I think the above event are a Russian attempt to divert attention in global media from the evidences presented in the program. In episode 1 we learned that a Russian spy ship disguised as a fishing trawler moved 125 times (!) over a data cable until it snapped. It would not be a wild conspiracy theory that the Russians at the same time they snapped the cable one place, splined it another place at the same time in order to copy the data on the fly future wise, right? That data cable, amongst other things, transmits data from the worlds largest satellite data receiving station hereunder from satellites from UK and USA. In episode 3 that just aired tonight very strong evidence, coming from a former British naval officer, shows how a Russian "hydro graphic research vessel" around two weeks before the explosion leave Russia and go to to the coast outside of the Swedish island of Gotland where it meets up with a Russian sub that also are leaving Russia from another site earlier same day. Then they together travel towards Nordstream 1 and 2. Subs positions then become unclear but he "research vessel" then slows down to almost standstill over first one pipeline then sails to the other and do same. After this it returns directly to Russia. Next evidence are just 5 days before the explosion where another Russian "hydro graphic research vessel" with ability to carry a mini sub follows EXACT same route as the previous and do same very slow travel when coming to the pipelines. Last week it have been published that Danish intelligence have taken 28 photographs of these vessels and that they turned of transponders AIS systems before coming to the pipelines. The first "research vessel" had some active communications that were "unusual" as it were stated. This are data that should be taken very serious. There are a radical difference between monitoring/spying and active sabotage on soil belonging to a free independent democratic NATO nation! If so, it very much look like a clear article 5 violation to be honest! These 3 programs MUST be aired in ALL NATO nations immediately! I would take Zelensky at his word for this; I don''t think that Ukraine had anything to do with this "attack"... they would have succeeded if they had conducted it. It also isn't really consistent with their M-O; it wouldn't really serve any strategic or tactical purpose to take a pot-shot at the Kremlin in the middle of the night when nobody they might want to target would be there anyway. Also, Ukraine is certainly not the only party on the face of the Earth that has issues with Putin. This was an inside job; either it was a false-flag, or somebody inside Russia is beginning to pursue an agenda that expressly doesn't involve Putin - with extreme prejudice. On that subject, I'm sure there's at least a few very unhappy campers who have made it back to Moscow from the front lines by now. It's not terribly realistic for the Kremlin to assume there aren't going to be a lot of angry conscripts looking to ply their newly acquired combat skills in the pursuit of payback in the days to come. Prigozhin doesn't seem very jolly these days either. I get the feeling there's going to be considerably more incidents like this - none of which have any connection to Ukraine. With all due respect to Col. Leighton, I don't see from what little there is of his bio on the internet that he is an expert in drones or antiaircraft systems. He appears to be an intel analyst and a policy wonk. Beyond that, if an AA weapon of some kind was used to bring this drone down there would be a tell tale plume from the intercept wether a gun based system or a missile system. There's nothing except for the drone exploding at just the right moment.
NATO/Ukraine definitely had a hand in it. Those two men are military/security personnel that continually protect the grounds and buildings around the Kremlin. Just after the drone attack the Kremlin had already a commemorative postage stamp made in Ukraine celebrating the attempted assassination. The Ukrainians also have a huge mock up picture of the Crimean bridge bombing so passerby’s can take selfies.
Peace in Ukraine achieved by depriving Ukrainians of the means to defend their country and their families is a graveyard peace that will ultimately end very badly for all of Europe. And peace without a complete victory for Ukraine, its entry into NATO and punishment of the russian barbarities is only a short truce.
Supplying weapons and not stepping in means there's a 100% certainty that Ukrainians keep dying every day. You didn't give a timeline, so I assume you think it's better for Ukrainians to die every day for two or three or even five years, than to go for a peace treaty which would put the co-signers in a position to actually step in if Russia starts the war up again. Since the USA set the UN and NATO precedent that declaring threats to your National Security gives you the right to invade countries on the far side of the world, it puts the UN and NATO in a tough spot. Russia declared the situation a threat to National Security, invoked the same articles and provisions the USA invokes, and has the advantage that the declared 'threat' is actually on their borders and not half a world away.

"The treaty said nothing about defending them. It said they would support them at the UN security council" - No, read below, and specifically the second paragraph, last sentence.
Budapest Memorandum:
In exchange for giving up its nuclear arsenal, Ukraine initially sought legally binding guarantees from the US that it would intervene should Ukraine’s sovereignty be breached.
And while that response was not explicitly defined, Pifer notes that: “there is an obligation on the United States that flows from the Budapest Memorandum to provide assistance to Ukraine, and […] that would include lethal military assistance”.
edit/additional info:
Russia first broke its commitments under the Budapest Memorandum in 2014, with its annexation of Crimea and aggression in eastern Ukraine. The international response at the time was lacklustre - although the US and the UK did subsequently step up their efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s armed forces through training and provision of lethal defensive arms. At the time, a committee of the UK House of Lords noted that:
As one of the four signatories of the Budapest Memorandum (1994), which pledged to respect Ukraine’s territorial integrity, the UK had a particular responsibility when the crisis erupted. The government has not been as active or as visible on this issue as it could have been.

Are CNN having breaking news regarding the evidence presented in episode 3 (last) of "Shadow war" that just aired in all the Nordic countries at the same time tonight?
The first "research vessel" had some active communications that were "unusual" as it were stated.

first NORD STREAM pipeline destroyed by america and now this !!! a clear message to putin that he can be assinated just like iranian general suleimani ....
How big of battery pack did that drone have?
One with only 1/30th the capacity to fly from Ukraine. But just enough for the FSB to launch from a block away.
The Kremlin is going to need to start wondering who the greater threat is: Ukraine or their own soldiers.
good post.
I always enjoy watching the Colonel`s expertise. He knows exactly what he`s talking about. Appreciated. Thanks.
That's why he got run out of Afghanistan ?
He says te aa artillery shot it down, I don’t see any evidence of that in the footage, it just exploded by itself….
@@OptimusPrinceps_AugustusGetting fired does not mean he doesn't know what he's talking about.
@@80s_Boombox_Collector Yep.. You'd let a Doctor fired for Malpractice operate on your kids too I guess
@@egnbigdave What this guy got fired for is nowhere near medical malpractice, nor is listening to his opinions anywhere near as important as deciding which doctor to operate on your kids. You're reaching.....No doubt because of your political bias.
A firecracker 🎆
The drone looked a lot like one of those supplied to Russia by Iran.
No. It looks much smaller and cheaper. That's the funny thing about it. They used a toy drone to stage a false flag operation. Amateurs! :D
If there are partisans inside Russia, maybe Ukraine or the West should encourage or aid them.
My thought is an inside job, an ecuse to skip the parade on May 9th, since Russia basically got nothing left to show when most of it had gone to Ulraine 😂😂
The two people were examining damage from the first drone that hit the base of the flagpole. Drone came from the east.
Hard to imagine an assassination attempt on a flag pole.
Also hard to imagine both drones detonating on the flag pole, and it not being the target.
Russians are so corny, and don't even realize it.
Meaning it came from within Russia. A Ukraine launched one would come from the south. Partisans either with or without Ukrainian help.
Could it have been an oligarch who was tired of oligarchs falling out of windows......
At least the two FSB drone operato...I mean sighseers on the dome roof had a prime view.
Poor poot feels threaten at home like millions of Ukraine It's only the beginning
If a fly flew by mu nutsack, CNN would get a Retired colonel analyze Alleged Fly by Nutsack on BadHabit
I really don't care who did it, I just wish they'd have gotten it right..😒
If you look closely you can see 2 people climbing.
I believe that there's a competition with a cash prize for landing a Drone on Red Square for the parade. Perhaps this was a practice run.
Heard the same. No inclusion for fireworks though from what I heard. Could replaced the firework with a recording of the Ukraine national anthem though on the day. ;)
ahahaa anti aircraft that close to a roof.. impossible.. and the explosion was about 2 ounces of something.. almost harmless
3 match sticks
How dare you attack me while I am invading your country
It was Amazon delivery
We need more of those deliveries to Putin.

Whoever tried to use a drone and take out Vladimir Putin. All I have to say is, "Too Bad They Missed!"
Who ever it was, shame they missed. However Kremlin is not going anywhere. If the first one doesn't succeed try and try again!
Also you should see the debris of the interceptor to travel in line with the interception trajectory a bit.
There’s Hollywood explosions and there’s real explosions, he would have thrown a hand grenade in his time.
@@tonydoggett7627 He's retired Air Force not Army. Chance are he wouldn't know a hand grenade from an Easter egg.
Reminds me a bit of Matthias Rust, the bloke who landed a Cessna 172 right on Red Square in 1987.
Apart from anything else , Wouldn't an attack be larger than a medium sized firework suited to your back yard ?
