I have had the enigma for about a year. Love it! I just learned today about the Nike headband. Think I will try it. Excellent job my brother in Christ. God bless you!
@@citizenresponseUpdate: that headband is a game changer. Installing it was easy and I was instantly more comfortable wearing without an extra layer of an undershirt. TY!
I really like your channel so far. I bought an enigma and adding the dcc clip was a game changer for me. I almost considered only wearing it while running until I got that idea from your last enigma video. I noticed a lot of people do deep carry with the enigma but for myself I prefer the quickest access possible and having the firearm above the belt line is the best way I know to do that.
Looking to buy one of these holsters, I like what you’ve done to yours very nice. I used to follow PHLster back when I was making holsters myself.now I don’t have the ability to make them anymore so I’ll buy one.. Thanks for expressing your Faith, your right so many don’t.. but should!
Dude this was awsome, I was thinking of running a softer backing for the enigma but you saved me a couple of bucks there. But the DDC clip is money dude
Good review. Also, good tips on how to improve the Enigma holsters. I always carry an extra mag. The extra mag is not for extra rounds but for fixing malfunctions. Keep up the good work. God Bless.
Brother it is so good to hear your message at the end. We are getting close to the last chapter of the book and more people need to hear the good news more than ever.
I’m new to your channel and I think I got turned on to it because I just purchased my enigma. But what you said at the end really pull my attention to the point that I have goosebumps on my arms. Thank you.
People are always worried about tourniquets but they are only useful for limbs. Ya also need a pressure bandage for the torso, that's where your aiming.
Love the vids Preston keep up the good work. Im a Firefighter here in NH I also teach STOP the BLEED classes to Schools both staff and students along with Hunter safety programs a trauma kit is essential to such activities and a tourniquet is a must for shooters/hunters/CC I have both soft-T and CAT gen 7 I find the CAT easier for self application.
Don't know if you've experimented yet, but the TRex tourniquet holder will fit the tourniquet, an NPA, NCD, and trauma shears like a charm. Hemostatic gauze goes in a back pocket, and the Hyfin mini seals ride behind the tourniquet holder. So full IFAK at all times. The challenge now will be trying to figure out how to make all of that work with the Enigma. So if you have any thoughts on that, I'd love to hear.
Thanks for the advice very informative. I just ordered a discrete concept clip and I’m gonna try the Nike headband thing too. Love your set up thank you.
Great info and love hearing other peoples experience with the enigma. I run mine as my daily rig. I actually have 2, one with a DCC clip for everyday and one without for dress attire on sundays. I highly recommend checking out the sport belt it was a game changer. The head band mod looks good but having even more surface area to disperse the weight is great
Another tip for you, chest seal blood wound patches have a higher survival rate than a tourniquet, i carry patches and a tourniquet, the chest seals come in vented and non vented for $10 bucks on Amazon
May not need the extra ammo per se however if you run into a malfunction an extra mag comes in handy. A good amount of malfunctions are caused by magazines or ammo itself and a mag change is a faster way yo get back in a fight than to try to fumble with the existing mag which potentially caused the issue to begin with. Just food for thought
Might recommend swapping off the SOF-T and on to the CAT for your tourniquet. Lots of data showing the CAT is more effective both in occlusion, failure rate (or lack thereof), and ease of use. Granted my data is from 2021, but there was a long presentation I had to sit through as a combat medic that broke down like 10 different tourniquets, SOF-T included. Also wow it's refreshing to see a brother in Christ out here in the wild
LOVE the Phlster Enigma content - I am waiting for a holster to come in for mine and your videos have been SO helpful. Have you considered running a WML on your setup? (i.e. TLR-7a/sub)

Well you did it 😅you finally convinced me to pull the trigger and buy one of these haha. We talked a few months ago after you posted one of your other videos on the enigma and it got me thinking. But ordered one today for the 43x. I want to carry way too often in athletic shorts and don’t have a really solid way to do it
I like my enigma with my P365 But I bet torn up on my belly from the Wilson combat grip module and beaver tail. After wearing half a day I’m torn the hell up and need to take it off. I got some comfort from the papoose cover but I’m almost thinking of wearing a belly band to protect my skin from the chafing. Any thoughts?
I understand what you mean about a spare mag. You ain't wrong for voting it off the island. BUT (lol), I'm sure you're well aware, a spare mag isn't just for reloading and empty gun. It's also your back up for a lost or broken magazine. Anyway, appreciate your tips, brother. God be with you
It’s super easy. If you have assembled the enigma, you do it the same and just place the clip through the screws before you tighten them down- i can send you a video on IG or you can email me
@@citizenresponse I recently just got my enigma set up and am surprisingly impressed with the comfort. Did you order the DCC clip kit from phlster? They sell a $40 kit but im not sure it's for the enigma. Did you just add the clip in with the same original hardware?
@@citizenresponse Hey man great informative video. I was wondering which mod 4 clip did you get they have so many different options and the one that you seem to have looks to be the right height.
great info. Thanks! I forgot to ask in this video about light bearing holsters. I was thinking of going with the Tenicor so I could use multiple compact lights, as I'm more likely to change lights than guns (i.e. getting the Philster light bearing holster made for a specific light, and any gun). I would love to hear your thoughts on light bearing holsters since I wear board shorts all summer and I don't want it to look like I'm smuggling bananas or something. Haha. Thanks again!

@@citizenresponse thanks I just set both of mine up the exact same way, feels way more solid than with the leg leash. I controls the height letter and stabilizes the lateral movement better. I'll put it through the test tonight
