Ok, technically this isn't using green tea as an alternative to shampoo- it's adding green tea to castille soap, which is actually washing your hair.
I did a green tea rinse on my hair two nights ago and I love the results so I'm using your ingredients right now as we speak to make the shampoo for myself and my boyfriend I hope it is really good for him... He washes his hair every day with regular cheap shampoo and he has bad dandruff and bad shedding so I'm going to give him this so he can use it like crazy but still be beneficial
I have very sensitive skin and have to be careful about the products that i use. this sounds easy and with few ingredients. will be trying this one. thank you
I added both coconut and almond oil to that mixture. Can I refrigerate the remaining shampoo? Or is it best to store it at room temperature?
Isn't the ph balance of castile soap too high to use on hair? Does the tea balance that out, or there something else I'm not aware of?
Yes it is....it's very harsh as a shampoo
thank you
!!!!!!!!!! We just found this. Ha! So, that is basically all our products, castile soap plus green tea. plus a few more other ingredients.
Should I keep it in the fridge?
what kind of soap did you use?
Check us out "Virginia First Tea Farm Castil Soaps" We are also growing tea in Virginia, part of the movement of US grown tea so that we don't have to import from Asia.
