if people are ordering drinks from any place or app.. it should be somewhat expected to spill in their dumb part, considering most people use bikes now a day; common sense really. Wont see it often in cars but no one delivers through cars as its too costly and not worth.

The best technique I've found for not spilling drinks is to get a smaller thermal bag, the kind that holds about 6-8 cans of drink, then put the bag with drinks in that. Very rarely have spillages these days after I got that.

I take 6 at a time and don't spill a drop. I do know there is a new Delivery cyclist in my area and I was speaking to one of the local customers and she said he completely trashed his drinks.
The lift in the first place was so tiny. You get bigger dumbwaiters for food in restaurants. I would a even class as a box let alone proper lift. That was deffo mcdonalds fault they should sell bottles if soda for delivery like with fruit shoots oassis etc, like fast restaurants do

Delivering is so easy now compared to when I did it back in the late 80s and early 90s. Back then it was cash only(nice not to have to deal with payments now 😊) and you had to carry a cash float and a change belt. Debit was only coming out and credit wasn't taken on delivery orders. No apps, you had a paper map to deal with! And if an order had a wrong address you had to search for a payphone to call or go back to the store, no double delivery charge which sucked. No e bikes or scooters to use here plus traffic speed in my city is much greater than 20 km/hr, it's more like 60 km/hr so a car has to be used, you would get run over on a slow e bike or moped. Plus we have winter here....the joys of getting stuck in the snow or sliding down a street on ice. I witnessed once people actually skating down a street as I drove by with my studded winter tires on the car.
And you couldn't refuse an order, you had a contract with a few restaurants, you had to deliver them even if it was 10 miles out.

I'm so confused, is London tap water terrible or something? Why are people ordering deliveries of nothing but bottled water? Even if the tap water is bad, wouldn't a tap filter or filter jug of some sort be cheaper in the long run?
People are lazy
its not the worst but its not the best either, tap water isnt really packed full of minerals, some other stuff that's probably not good lol I personally feel better and hydrated more by bottled water.
There was a recent contamination scandal with Thames Water so I think people are still avoiding it!

You might want to look up the current UK water company scandals and the dumping of raw sewage into rivers regarding that.

Did the drink spill or was it condensation from having ice cold drinks in the same bag as "hot" food? A lot of the time a little bit of moisture will destroy them paper bags.

Granted when I first started 4 years ago things were very different and it was very difficult to transport them because they had the flat lids and overfilled them, but now they just fill to the fill line and they have the raised middle where the straw is....

Tbh i've delivered a far few maccies orders and only had 1 spillage and the reason was cause i was on a e bike and the roads was awful. i think riders dont take as much accountability for there driving as they should in some cases

Its not rocket science,when you put those 2 mac bags in your thermal bag,there is still space for them to move about.i always carry a towel to fill any space and so bags are wedged in and totally unable to move. Never had a spillage ever. Your fault dude not maccies

Sorry dude it's on you, there's another delivery UA-camr in London who always gets McDonald's to wrap their large cups in cling film because he knows the lid can come off. If you know they aren't going to package their drinks properly, then it's on you for not taking steps to prevent that
