In today's video we take the FK8 back to the track! This time for CCW Streets. I wanted to show you guys everything I pack for a solo track day, so that you guys can be prepared as well! During this track day we had some issues with the Civic Type R.. I think we blew the turbo seals on our new Pure Turbos Turbo... time to get this checked out.

Word of advice (speaking from experience), don’t leave the car half in/out. I’ve had a pin fall out of the shaft on my garage door (same style as yours) and the door slammed down. LUCKILY it happened after I pulled my car out before it happened. Better safe than sorry
Ive definitely thought about getting a small little trailer that I could tow behind the civic for extra wheels and tires, tools, jack, etc. Its nice that a lot of premier tracks in my area are within 4 hours of where I live so driving to the track, racing, and then driving back is never a huge issue.
You've put a Valvoline 0W20 engine oil that is thinner than standard 0W30...I think that's the reason car smokes blue from the exhaust...for track use I'll put a slightly thicker oil like a 0w40 or standard spec at least

I'd be looking at the oil drain on the turbo. Try get a more free flowing setup. You're probably pushing oil past the seals, but not enough to blow them out hence why it's not smoking constantly.

Hey Dustin, I know this might be out of the question as all of your cars are Imports/JDM, but ever thought about going German? I'm thinking more of a VW which are a line of cars that can you can get a ton of power out of, and you have a ton of choices from 1992 to today. The aftermarket for VW's since 1992 is massive. I know this may be passed at, but I thought I'd mention it, as the Japanese cars you have left to modify seems to be shrinking quickly. Yet then again your subscribers may absolutely become furious at a change to German cars, so I understand if you choose not too. Oh wait Volvo's are great cars to modify and kind of rare too. My favorite Volvo The S60R 2.5 300hp awd beast.
Does it have a catch can? Does it route back to the intake? Did you overfill your catch can while ripping around at the track and started sucking up some oil?

That spec L exhaust piping is similar to stock, probably too much back pressure for stage 2 turbo.
If you want to go hard, check out 4P stage 4 fully built block but 2.1 L instead of the 2.0 and then slap it with some quaife sequencial transmission and get rampage fab gs-330 turbo kit which i think is a garrett turbo. If i had the dough that would be my goals😅

Always a reason why the turbo seals 'blow' - find the source to why. It's never the turbos fault on its own.

I’m not sure but I heard the turbo flutter a lot while you were driving, could be you blow off valve that’s not working. Which might cause to much pressure and therefore push oil into the intake from the pcv valve. Time for a oil catch can maybe?
