For them to be so miserable at the beginning and then to show such resolve afterwards only to fail in the most korok way possible is outrageously hilarious!
There is a reason people keep comparing them to kerbals.
I love how the army ranges from stick-wielding Koroks that do 0.00001 damage to advanced artillery, kamikaze planes and ICBMs.

well you see. you have your lower and upper class military, lower class has the sticks and other useless items, and the upper class has all the heavy artillery

Lower class armament: Sticks. A few with bombs on them
Higher Class: Well armed armored vehicles with high power, High range, High accuracy cannons, Multiple light transport units, along range missile artillery and a powerful Air Force with high level planes.

I wonder if they'll ever have Koroks again in a Zelda game... although Fujibayashi did say he expected people to be like this... Also it's so funny how all the koroks are marching and then there's that one who's just jumping up and down-

You got everything to move in time with the music. That's a detail that so many animators forget or don't achieve very well. I love it!
The only thing not on sync was the march at 0:38, which is a bit of a shame. Great animation ofc, but really wished that bit was on sync too.
LOL, exactly what I thought would happen, as soon as I saw the sticks with bombs. I guess I learned that lesson myself enough to be conditioned. 😂

Haha I learned that lesson the hard way in my early days of TotK. Bombs go on shields, not on swords!
As soon as I saw bombsticks I went "Okay. There's how this goes bad."
I assumed Link would just use, like, one firefruit and lob it into the crowd. But this is better XD
I learned it is not a good idea to turn around when cooking when you have a bomb shield on your back.

Ive followed the korok torture trend but I accidentally launched one into a river and then I abandoned him. But then I accidentally found him down stream and then took him to his destination.

I don't. The only time I did some "harm" to one of them was a fuck up I did.
I was near The Wing Temple and couldn't get a korok to the top of the ruin that his friend was on. So I strapped a rocket onto him.
I underestimated the rocket's speed. And didn't know it wouldn't disappear on impact. I think the poor guy fell off the mountain after sliding along the not flat rock ceiling.
I wanna go back and try again.
If only they had that kind of motivation when they need to walk 300 feet to find their travel buddy's camp.

Dude, the Arthur hand at the beginning. And I know people will make comparisons to C&C for obvious reasons, but the Koroks here really remind me of Cannon Fodder- if anyone remembers that game- with all the Vietnam inspire helmets (masks).
