There would be so many setting for an Assassin's Creed in Japan, like the Boshin war, the Sengoku period, the 47 ronins incident, the Shimabara rebellion, the Genpei war and so many others that I can't tell cause there are just too many of them
I’d love to see an Assassin doing smooth and Japanese stealthy way of killing templars. It’s a really good opportunity for them to use the Ninja/Kunoichi approach. Maybe after Layla’s trilogy, they can venture out to Asian Brotherhood memories. Like they can do 1) Japan 2) [***] 3) [***]
"Remember son. We are not warriors. We are not kings. We are not samurais....... The king wants war ! If that is what the king wants I'll grant him his wish. ......We are Assassin's. Japan will be mine even if I have to see it burn.
It's clear that everyone wants an Assassin's Creed Japan game. However, we are forgetting two important things... We need a good, no, GREAT Assassin's Creed Japan game, and this theme to accompany it!
Ubisoft KNOWS an ac set in japan is their trump card so to say, so they're probably waiting for people to start losing interest in assasins creed before they drop it to gove the series a second wind
Nobody left a comment yet, so I might as well leave one ! Pretty well done, mate ! Nice use of the japan sonority, it even gets a cool heroic vibe from 00:40 (time for the AC logo & title, with the protagonist standing on the rooftop of a huge japanese castle ^^) ! On a side note, I think nobody on the internet already used the "Ghost in the Shell" type of female chorus to create an AC japanese theme... but I guess this would be connotated a bit too much sci-fi ! :p Anyway, nice job George ! :D I'm very eager for the AC game that'll take place in Japan. I think it's pretty safe to bet we'll get one episode in Japan... SOME day. Might not be very soon (especially if the rumours about the Viking setting are true), but it will definitely happen in the future of the series. The legacy of the ninja clans provides rich material for the Assassin's Creed lore, and the mythology of the Yokai could be nicely tied to the Isu Artifacts (like what Origins and Odyssey did with egyptian and greek creatures). :)
Good news everyone! We're finally getting an Assassin's Creed set in Japan. Should be coming out in 2024 after Assassin's Creed Mirage in 2023. I say should because things can happen. You know how it is.
If they were to make an Assassins Creed in Japan make it in the late Warring States Period or a time before Era there is plenty of Assassinations of that era, Particularly Nobunaga Oda the one that is the most Famous, in 1582 June 21, or the Assassination of the Emperor Anko in 456. Of course they would need to be Templars then the Piece of Eden would be Hidden in the Toshogu Shrine or the Great Buddha Statue. Ninja’s obviously would be the Japanese Assassin Brotherhood. They would just need to make the Character design Ninja-Assassin. As fir the name call it, “Assassins Creed Kage” Meaning “Shadow” in Japanese
I feel like if we ever get this game, it will inevitably be a "Last Samurai" style story where as Japan opens up to the West, the Templars get in with it and begin their machinations in an unspoiled society the way they wanted to do with the North American colonies. Rather than it being a group of Assassins in the country who drive out the Templars, I think it is more likely a story where Assassins travel to Japan (perhaps from China since we know they have brotherhoods functioning there prior to the late 1800's) knowing what the Templars are up to and side with the local Samurai to try to drive out the Templar threat- but we know how this story ends which means our Assassin protagonist has to fail to some degree. We know that western culture permanently influences Japan, we know they leave many traditional ways behind, we know the way of the samurai effectively ends. So I wonder how they would make that story without us just playing as a Templar.
@@Inkxo3D Because one of the foundations of the series is Assassins vs Templars Because the Templars plan was global control, all nations would be influenced to achieve their ultimate plan
@@Sumguyinavan_ i think templars will look very out of place in feudal japen, also the time gap is very large, templars didnt existed anymore when gun power was invented

Let's be honest: for a fanmade japanese theme it's seriously well done!
There would be so many setting for an Assassin's Creed in Japan, like the Boshin war, the Sengoku period, the 47 ronins incident, the Shimabara rebellion, the Genpei war and so many others that I can't tell cause there are just too many of them
if it was up to me if i was part of the writers in ubisoft ill put on the 47 ronin timw
I think the sengoku jidai would be awesome
One of his family could have served the Tokugawa clan
I wish it was the Genpei war so players can fight or possibly help Minamoto No Yoshitsune, the legendary samurai at that time.
Could do a ghost of tsushima esqe theme rise of the ninja bring back the stealth attacks

Couldn't agree more on that!
But now actually want the game to be back on it's roots.

Ghost of Tsushima embodies everything an Assassin Creed Japan can bring in tho
dude! this is really cool! between your fanmade and mine, i think you respected the Ubisoft style better hahaha! Nice job man!
Thanks man !! Yours is pretty cool too. I remember listening to it before i started working on mine.

Best feudal japan AC theme on youtube
Very catchy.
I hope the creed's concept will align with Shonobi's of feudal Japan, considering their rich stealth warfare heritage.

Good thing ac red is coming out
assassin in japan is ninja
Ghost of Tsushima already scratched the itch.
Yet the itch remains
because ghost of tsushima isnt assassins creed its a whole new different game its identical to ac but its not the same lore and part of ac
I'm not after the lore,Just the gameplay. I'll always welcome more assassins creed though, even if sometimes reluctantly

The theme was originally composed by Jesper Kyd. This is a cover i did based on that theme.
