Lord God Jesus, Thank you for making saint Francis and saint Clare a true followers of you, in whom Their trust completely by your side where their words and action according to your will. Please teach us to be humble with ourselves through their examples, especially in our modern times it very hard to follow the foot steps and their good works in following the gospel.
For me these two are the best representation of Jesus teachings on Earth. The total abandonment of material wealth and full dedication to care for ALL beings with love and kindness.

I know it was a very long time ago, and I’m not sure how much of a difference it makes by now, but I wonder where those making this film got the birthdate for Clare? The date I have for her birth is 16 July 1194. The film says 1193.
