The biggest trap I’ve seen that happens to anyone starting out world of tanks is that there is seemingly no proper guides to tell them everything they need to know in order to be efficient and effective at the game, and a bigger pain in the ass is that the game BARELY tells you ANY of it

As someone who has grinded the game and has multiple tier 10 tanks, I died inside lmao, your shots are going anywhere in the circle, the circle shrinks after being stationary (on the move your circle stays large)
In 10 years in War Thunder, you could have unlocked every nation that the game has to offer.

Yeah i played the game for a long time but i always found it annoying, switching to war thunder was hard at first but it is the surperior game imo, much less p2w all be it the grind might be even more fucking painful than world of tanks
also white stars are obtaned after a battle these are the tank exp
these tank exp are used to research new tank depending on the tank path. when you get tank exp from a tank these exp are only used for the specific tank you battle with. the free exp is the exp you can use on any tank
3:31 I don't think this is actually the case. Guns have a significant random spread that dies down when you sit still for a bit.

pro tip for accruacy: wait for the circle to shrink and then shoot
it’s had a slight revival in mid tier for cold war and WW2, i never wait longer than 1 minute to get into matches no matter what tier i’m playing but i join the second i click find a match in tier 2 cold war or rating 5-7 WW2
Also, I just looked it up, this is what Reddit has to say: "The reason they appear and disappear is likely because one of your allies' is spotting it but the tank itself is outside of your ally's detection range except when the camo factor is affected by it firing. So what you're seeing is: Enemy tank is outside of ally's view range."

1. This Game has something that’s called spotting mechanics. For that search “spotting mechanics wot” and klick on the official video from Wargaming.
2. Tanks have amor ➡️ wot amor mechanics.
3. ammunition ➡️ wot ammunition mechanics
4. Please make another review about WoT.
Its sad that these comments are always the ones getting lost. What i really hate in review videos like these is that they judge based upon just a couple hours of gameplay at most. Wot is something that only really starts getting good once YOU start getting good, which is at the very least a few thousand battles. This review showed basically none of the real gameplay, just him getting owned over and over by making stupidly obvious mistakes like standing out in the open and not waiting for his gun to get accurate.

The reason why you can't penetrate the armor of a enemy tank is because the circle in the middle is red and red means that the armor is impenitrable
Orange means it is penetrable but at the same time impenitrable
Green means penetrable armor
The doot in the middle I am talking about is the crosshair
Also the reason why the tanks dissapear is Because for some reason there is a signal system where you can't see the enemy but your teammates can see the tank so thats why the fast tank are useful because they can be used as spotters that can cordinate the team into seeing the enemy because the fast tank shares the signal with the teammates so thats why the tanks dissapear and thats how to stop that happening
Also the reason you are missing your target is because the circle around the corsshair must be as small as possible thats called focus mechanic to make the circle around the crosshair smaller you must stop moving your tank and aim so thats the circle can become smaller and the guns accuracy can be more accurate the circle around the crosshair expands when moving or firing but it becomes smaller and more accurate when you aim and stop moving
You know what amuses me. The approach that the community of both games has. But on yt it seems to me that WT is some kind of sect praising their god. I used to play wota but quit because I got sick of it all. Into the trash went similar games where you get annoyed rather than have fun (lol,cs,r6).
I'll probably be run down but I'll say how I see it as a former wot player but also eager to learn more about how it really is. The WT community for me often praises their game as it is great and the competition is bad. At the same time, players complain about the problems and decisions of the slug. It is strange because on both sides every player over time curses the developers it is only on one side that I see that for their own good let them avoid this game. For me both games are the same, a slow grind that forces you to play for months to get your dream machine which will probably turn out to be weak. The business model is made in such a way that it almost forces you to buy a premium because if not slow grind then economy. Over time, even if I had fun as I calculated how much time it took me to do all this, I don't wish anyone to fall into a similar addiction of one more battle and making a new techonogical tree.
It's also funny to point out wot that it's not realistic. It's like hll,post script players making fun of bf/cod or arma that shooting in csgo is unrealistic. Games work differently. On the one hand we have the one who shoots first accurately wins on the other who skillfully hits more at the same time makes the opponent hit as little as possible by various means. The difference is that in one game one mistake is deadly in the other you still have a chance if you really did not do something stupid.
As for popularity I can't say. Ratings on steam are similar because 77-80% in the last 30 days. The main yt channel completelyi dominates WT on twitch WOT. And how many players are online need accurate statistics and such I do not know if anyone keeps. On steam there is nothing to look at because both games use a separate client and articles only give records. And also different regions and wot is since the war, wot now is tanki in Russia.
As for me both games are cool in their own way. But they are equally addictive and devastating by their system.

I AM SO F ING TIRED OF PEOPLE HATING ON WOT FOR NO FRICKIN (good) REASON! I hear from everywhere, that wargaming makes the game p2w, and yes, this is true but also true for War thunder! Gaijin is selling an is-7 for 1.5K dollars! You can get it for free in Wot! (In fact for this amount of money you can probably buy like 10 or more high tier tanks in Wot) Then everyone comes with "But warthunder has way more tanks! 🤓"! Well... If they make a separate tank for every little change, like upgraded canons, or engines OF COURSE THERE WILL BE MORE! And on top of that, War thunder includes those rat armoured cars and anti-air units! (Not even speaking about copy-paste event vehicles)
Next one: "But warthunder is realistic!" Okay, this is mainly subjective, I personally prefer both realistic and arcade style.
Seriously, people just tend to forget which game was the first in the tank mmo market.
Notes for the creator: Not hitting anything is because of a thing called dispersion. The more you wait for that green circle to shrink, the more accurate your shot will be. (Basically you have to wait for the gun to stabilize) Tanks are disappearing because of spotting mechanics. This mechanic is mainly for preventing super campers and for making the game more challenging. (You have to make tactics with spotting calculated in) As for the penetration, the color of the crosshair in the very middle changes between red, yellow and green. If red, then the penetration is not possible, if yellow, then there is a chance of penetration, if green, you will penetrate. White stars are just like research point in war thunder.
These are just hints. I don't hate anyone for preferring other games. I mean, I love both Wot and War thunder. So you don't have to be so critical about a game you have never ever played. (Or stopped at low tiers)
i understand people not trying wot before judging it, but as someone who actively plays it, its not a good game
I play WT and WOT and in my opinion both games are great. WT is great for when you have time but WOT is when you are in a hurry and want to play a really arcade type of game.

Don't know if you know, but the reason you were missing a lot of shot is because of WoT incredible RNG syatem. Basically, you have two circles, on in the middle where your crosshair is which can show if you can penetrate the enemy (depends on the crosshair type) and the big circle around it. Shots fired can go anywhere within the big circle which is determind by your accuracy stat. Moving the tank and the turret makes the circle bloom and become bigger. Standing still makes it shrink, based on your aim time stat to it's smallest possible size. This is one of the things many WoT and non WoT people hate about the game.
So you want wot to remove aim time?

I will say this. It hurts just from looking at it. I'd give you some advice but the question is whether it's worth it because you certainly won't be playing anyway. But I can always advise if someone wants to know something.
As for the tractor, it's just a joke. It was in the game files a long time ago and I think it was hidden in a building on one map.

You find this game hard because you are new , as a player for 10 years I assure you that world of tanks is a good game !
As a person that both played war thunder(got to rank 5), wot (got to rank 6) and wot blitz (rank 4), I can say that I dropped wot because its basically a casino, and there are a shit ton op tanks that you cant pen without gold shells. And gold shells have less DPS so if it can pen you with default shells, youre basically screwed.
lemme tell ya that as someone who has spent a lot of time actually getting good at wot, its not a good game

try to lern about your tank weak spots and try not to show them and lern the enemys weak spots that you can pen the most weak spots one german tanks are the mid plate and the turret but like the T34 the button and mid plate is very strong amoured so aim the turret but there are typs of ammo APDS is high pen shot but nit good for angled tanks and HE rounds are good for light tanke/ Anti air and a heat round is good for tanks that are far away
