Crash Of White Rhino Feeding

A crash of rhino feeding on a early morning drive, with some lush Zululand bush in the background. The guests in particular was very amazed by the shear size and calmness of the big mammals.
They feeded along the thicket edge until they grossed into the bush heading to a well deserved drinking spot to lay down during the heat that was about to come for the rest of the day.
Rhino often feed early in the morning and late in the afternoon in summer as the mid day temperatures forces them to seek shade or water where they can rest and cool down.
Seeking water also assist them with parasite removal as within the water lives terrapins which then helps with tick removal whilst the Rhinos will lie down in the water to cool down.
Its beneficial for both parties as the Rhinos get a parasite cleanup and the terrapins gets food.
