I use to have theory on why Bridgette and Michael always argue with each other over angry grandpa. Angry grandpa started to notice that Michael was starting to get angry Very easily over grandpas angry fits and destroying stuff. So grandpa tried to break up Michael and Bridgette by destroying stuff, replacing them and having arguments. Grandpa hated Bridgette since day 1. Grandpa hated how Bridgette would fight with grandpa over replacing broken things. Grandpa resented Bridgette for taking Michael away. So grandpa knew that he can't make Michael break up with Bridgette so decide to break them up by making Michael angry so Michael could direct his anger at Bridgette and they would break up.
