Here I am, yet again, watching Tourist Sauce Scotland for the umpteenth time. It simply does not get old.
Don’t know how you boys do it. Always raising the bar. Love this series.
Thank you gents. As a former resident of Aberlady for 20 years, you did the place proud. You even featured (briefly) my old house at 2.26. Not the white one! Beautiful cinematography. My only suggestion would be to get your commentator to swiftly down a couple of pints of Belhaven Best prior to recording. Keep up the good work.
Crying laughing for 5min straight when Randy talks about ” mentaly missing ” his puts😂😂😂😂😂 Absolut Legend 🙌🏻👑
Can't wait for this season! Literally the only channel I look forward to on UA-cam.
Sean Cahill you gotta watch adventures in Golf it’s just as good
First time trip to Scotland with a few mates last year. Going back there this October to play Craigielaw and Kilspindie courses again. Kilspindie is so underrated imo and great value too. Keep these great vlogs guys👍
Love the podcast -especially the Scottish episodes. I’m originally from Scotland but live in Devon. You’re podcast has inspired me to return home and play some of these courses. Thanks for all your hard work.
Come with us next March Alan! > www.linksgolfcup.co.uk/links-golf-cup-east-lothian/
This is alot of fun to watch. I am living vicariously through yall who have this dream job. Keep up the great "work"!
Best channel on UA-cam. Little bit of Neil in this and all would be perfect
I freaking love the filming style of these stories. So simple, so fun.
The NLU "content team" have a little getaway to Scotland while our very own Mr. Icarito, Neil "Young Merchi" Schuster is on the homefront slaving away on cloud analytics and Google ad returns. Gruden would be proud
Well, at least Neil got to play the Iowa courses...
Thanks for sharing the craic blokes. What an epic journey for the ages...
Hey guys - Just an audio editing tip...If you learn how to use a compressor / limiter, you can make the sound more consistent throughout the video to prevent spikes. I was startled by the volume in a few places. Keep crushing it!!
"In Gullane (Scotland), if you're noooot warin a golf shirt, yooor nooot warin a shirt." Archie Baird, Golf Historian and custodian of the The Heritage of Golf Museum in Gullane right next to the first tee at Gullane No.1. Hopefully you all went there for a lesson in golf history and to meet this terrific gent.
Glad Big Randy finally has a viable retirement option as the Kilspindie Human Observation Deck on #3
You guys nailed this...Malcolm convinced me and friends to play Kilspindie years ago. If you can’t enjoy Kilspindie, you can’t truly love golf. Cheers
You guys have just put into words and pictures the feelings i had playing in Scotland last month, we only arrived home in Australia yesterday and you have brought a lump into my throat. The courses are a completely different beast than what we have on offer in Melbourne. My highlight was the Alisa course at Turnberry, although the new at St Andrews and Kings Barns and the 2 Courses at the Fairmont were also magical.
Can't wait to see the next installment, keep the great videos coming
Been waiting on these to release! I’m taking my dad over to Scotland next June and we’re hitting a few of the courses you guys went to. Can’t wait for the Inverness episodes!
Wry, Pithy, & Droll Commentary is right up the alley of Big Narrator Randy.
"No television in this bar because bars are for talking" Wish I could find more places like this. Another great video that makes me want to visit this place even more. Great job on the commentary Randy!
Great choice of a course to start on, only played it myself for the first time last year...Scottish golf is full of courses like this where you might not list it in your top twenty links courses in the country, but if someone asked you about it you would say "Oh yeah, it's great, definitely play it !" Scotland is God's own golfing country - and that's spoken as a proud Englishman !
"There are no TVs in this bar, because bars are for talking." PREACH Malcom.
Been looking forward to this. Hey Randy, 'mental miss' works for me all the time. Takes the tension out of the body.
So freaking awesome! Great production!
Excellent start to Season 2, fellas. Keep it up...
What a tease! You're Kilspindie'n me smalls!
It’s going to take a massive amount of self restraint for me to get through this series without booking a return trip. Strong work guys!
Love this and how much you guys get it and get Scotland. Tipping my hat to your brilliant commentary
AMAZING! So glad Tourist Sauce is back. Keep it up boys
One word to describe this , Class
This is true golf content!
Production value is incredible. You guys killed it. Can’t wait to see next week.
Infinite possibilities is two words
Great viewing can’t wait to see the rest of the episodes! Quality stuff.
Dream adventure
Played Kilspindie last year - lovely people, fun course, nice food :)
Absolutely love this series. Keep up the great content guys!
Pure NLU gold. Can’t wait for the next part to drop
Worked out well that the crew could belly up at Soly's dad's bar. You can see how much it meant to win that green jacket with his daddy Duck in the crowd.
Great that you didn’t just visit the usual suspects. Kilspindie is a gem, less high profile than its neighbours but just as much fun. Excellent work NLU, looking forward to the next instalment.
On course: Tron was deep in the editing bay seeing to it that every single one of his made putts found the final cut.
Off course: Randy’s forthcoming book on putting: The Big Mental Miss will be delightful.
🎼When Randy was in the Queen's land.... Malcolm didn't let those robbers go!!!🎼
Green Jacket is 🔥
“Of course, in men’s sports no one ever talks about beauty, or grace, or the body. Men may profess their “love” of sports, but that love must always be cast and enacted in the symbology of war: elimination vs. advance, hierarchy of rank and standing, obsessive stats and technical analysis-David Foster Wallace"- Big Randy narrating
Big Randy in a Wings shirt, love it. Excited to use this episode as a chaser to tomorrow's terrible Wings game
Go Blue Jackets!
Great video guys! We use Kilspindie every year as one of our Links Golf Cup venues. Looking forward to see how you get on at North Berwick - another one of our favourite courses
Sooooooooooooo good!!!!!!
Bucket list stuff right here
just perfect vids... makes me wanna go Scotland in a sec
Brilliant - loved it!
Best. Channel. Ever! If you guys ever want to not lay up in switzerland, hit me up...
Intro....is Scotland as great as you thought? Nah, got to be so much better! Literally hundreds of truly terrific courses. Home of golf!
GREAT Stuff boys, can t wait for the next episode
love to play over there! Thanks for the video!
This is going to be the most brutal series to watch bc I’ll watch it over and over again, but I’m years away from being able to take a trip to any of these courses
That’s alright. Gives one something to aspire to
ITS BACK BABY.
Love these videos guys 👍
Coincidentally, non-acrimonious split is an apt description of Tron's move at the ball. #GetInvolved
We have a winner! email neil@nolayingup.com to snag your store credit #GetInvolved
excellent work boys.
Content is amazing, thanks!
god damn i love these videos, they make it a cultural experience for us too
Amazing job as always guys. Yall cant make content fast enough for us!
Looks awesome can’t wait to watch as the wife wants to take me to her birthplace in Scotland but....you really need to play South Africa
Big Randy needs to narrate the entire series....awesome stuff
Goat trip 🤙🏻🙌🏻🏌🏻♂️
Soly, what I want to know is if you got to keep your green jacket or if that's something Malcolm bequeath's for a day/night to those that master the putting teeter-totter? Great episode and glad you came through on my request for a Tourist Sauce series on the birthplace of golf. Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with next. With the winter in full effect in much of the U.S., I would suggest a trip to the Dominican Republic as there are several excellent courses in the World Top 100 you can cover, in addition to the resort and cigar scene. Pina Coladas anyone? :-)
You get the jacket for the evening.
"believes in the medicinal benefits of the seaside" of course Randall is the Klay of NLU
This is great
Hahaha Big Randy plays to a 10?! NLU editors make him look like a 24 in Strapped. #tronspiracy
Will the dry giraffe be dominating the upper canapes of commentary for the entire series?
Also The google tag word machine is sorely missed, Timon without his Pumbaa.
Ha ferris bueller!!!
Just found your channel. Fantastic!
Loves Proper Collar Protocol
Soly with the Crenshaw celebration, top notch acting.
Wrote the date on the wall in American format when all the others were in UK format. Not that it matters just a little laugh. Everyone who does happen to notice will probably think he did it in July, but Malcolm might've been confused as hell.
Both you and Erik are teasing me right now.... like I’m gonna be at work bro
Now I gotta wait until tonight 😔
Pops up killing my productivity!
Big Randy sounds like smooth jazz in this narration
Tron looked ready to risk it all for Malcolm after the words "Muppet Shirt"
Franecki Stravenue
Was due to be going to St Andrews tomorrow.... fuck covid! Pushed back to October - stop at the ducks is due!
This might be too good.
Big Randy's performance narrating this episode was the exact opposite of DJ's bunker game.
So bummed I never made it to the Ducks Inn before Malcolm sold it
Malcolm stopping the robber was like water off a Duck's back
I think the only explanation for it (it being Trons Queeeefy swing) is that it must be a Benjamin Button thing. That’s a 72 year old swing in a 30ish year old body. Look forward to tourist Sauce 2042 when there’s a bit of zip in that thing
भारी ना भावा(nice brother)👌👌👌
Randy going from an afterthought in Season 1 to the Season 2 spotlight is more aggressive than when a girl loses The Bachelor and immediately becomes the next Bachelorette.
The browning is a negative! That region is seeing historic draughts.
"No practice swings on the teeing ground"
[Immediate camera cut to practice swings on the teeing ground]
The sign was written in English and not American. That excuse will work.
My understanding is "practice swings" is the same as a "breakfast ball". Maybe I'm wrong
Ferris Bueller vibes from Big Randy. #LGRW
Great job guys ! Totally addict to your videos ! What is the intro song for this Scotland season ? Cheers
Love the wings shirt! Too bad they suck.
@ 2:17 you took the wrong exit if you were heading to East Lothian. You wanted the next exit, for the A720 (Edinburgh City Bypass)
Malcolm let DJ beat him in that Putting game
Came here to view professionally purchased google ads. Was not disappointed.
#squadgoals
2 things: 1) you DEFINITELY want to watch this with the closed captions turned ON - that alone supplies all the "pithy" you'll need -- an 2) whomever stated that the soundtrack is brutal is right - music drowns out the commentary
Some of these comments are tough to bare. Just gonna have to brush it off and foot the bill to new followers - Tron
Blade collar = Muppet shirt
Red wing shirt = mental miss
