Portugal is my best travel destination! My first trip there was 2008 and I went back there 2 more times! Lisbon alone is well worth the time but all the other areas like Porto is such a surprise!
Hi! And where they finished this video is at the Azores also Portugal but very far away from Lisbon and a paradise waiting for us! Yes Portugal is not that big but from Lisbon to the azores it's maybe more than a thousand miles away and there we have 9 incredible islands to explore. Unfortunately i have never been there! Madeira is another one of those places to be surprised for it's nature and beauty!
Portugal is the BEST!! I've just got back from a brilliant holiday in northern Portugal: Porto, Douro valley, Geres. I've also been to Lisbon and the Azores (Sao Miguel, Faial and Pico).
Goa should still be Portuguese territory. The Indian government illegally invaded and occupied Goa when Portugal was busy fighting in Africa. Goa is a Portuguese province according to the *Treaty of Bassein* signed in 1534. Anyway, cheers to you as well, amigo. 🍻
Spending an entire month in Nepal and India was the best traveling experience I’ve had. Visiting Kathmandu and other historical cities in Nepal, trekking the Annapurna, going to Varanasi, Agra (Taj Mahal), Jaipur and Delhi! So many memories!
As an Egyptian-American (born & raised in Louisville, KY USA) who has been to 36 countries so far...here are my votes: 1) Best Food Country - Japan 2) Best Nightlife - Seoul, South Korea 3) Best in Europe - Portugal (visited Lisbon/Madeira/Azores in 2019) due to the climate/geography, quality of life, nature, and culture. 4) Best Summer Destination - Vancouver (both the city and Vancouver Island). Visit it one summer and thank me later. 5) Honorable Mentions: Switzerland, Thailand, Italy, Prague, Turkey, Greece, California-Oregon-Washington Coast and Hawaii (it is more impressive than Madeira in many ways, but it is also more expensive and touristy). P.S. I also enjoyed that infinity pool in Singapore (as I stayed at that casino resort for a business trip once)!
India is the only place that surprised me on a deeper level, when I experienced in midst of all the chaos an inner transformation. It shakes you up, wakes you up. It has nothing to do with the way you guys travel, with all the respect, I love how you travel, but it opens the heart to humbleness and deeper questions. Portugal is in Europe the best place to be, stayed half a year and found peace there.
Yes, I wondered the same thing. This is all so wonderful and beautiful, but you would need a lot of money to travel so freely. That's wonderful if you can afford it. Many blessings.
Lisbon is definitely our favourite city (hopefully there and Obidos in September) and we love Madeira ( hopefully there at Christmas) but I love the Puglia area of Italy last year we went to Polignano a Mare, Monopoli and Lecce the architecture and coastline are just stunning. Love to Lara x
Hiking, backpacking, sightseeing natural wonders, eastern California, Utah, Arizona, Colorado. The nature is spectacular and unique. Can't wait to return for the 13th time! Each time is an adventure.
Rangiroa, an atoll in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, part of French Polynesia, where I swam with the stingrays and dived with the sharks. I stayed in a little hut on the beach, I'll never forget the deep blue colour of the water and the smell of the "fleur de tiaré". It's been more than 20 years, I'd love to go back one day.
This was actually fun. Now can you do the opposite? Maybe places that you might not necessarily go back to and your reasons why. For me it’s Ireland. I went once, I loved it but now that I’ve been I’m not itching to go back like how I’m itching to go back to Portugal and France.
I did two amazing trips that will stay with me forever: Moçambique and Bulgaria. Being portuguese I have an affinity link to Moçambique. I spent two weeks there, I was lucky because I had a friend that was working there, so I had one week free stay in Maputo and a free local guide, but I also went up north to Pemba (to the islands) and down south to Ponta do Ouro, and also took a weekend to go next door to Kruger Park. I went do Bulgaria 15 years ago, when they didn't yet know what tourism was! It is a beautiful country with a lot of different cultural influences.
This is sooo fulfilling, positive and soulful vlog, just amazing to look back on the unbelievable experience and absolute freedom. Thank you for sharing ❤
I love what you said about us being so lucky to be born in a place where we don't have to work like those poor people in such dangerous and hard jobs. You are so right. I love how you show the world through your videos, it makes me feel so grateful for being alive. It also makes me worried about what us as humans are doing to our Earth, like polluting, destroying, exploring, etc. Do you guys also worry about this? Do you have any concerns when you travel about the impact you have as tourists? I would love to travel more but many times I think that even though tourism is awesome for economies and for our personal experiences it also takes its toll on our Earth and small communities. Thank you for sharing your travels, your beautiful special moments. Stay classy. :)

A question is, in your first videos in Lisbon you said that you were not used to hills. Did you get used to? About my, kinda best trip, was to Florence. I just fell in love with the city and actually I want to comeback but not alone, which was as I visited the city - Nevertheless I met locals there that took me to places I would not go by myself. By the way, I've encountered you two in Saldanha once... maybe a year ago and we talked. You are just great people. Wish you good luck on the next videos :)
Oláaaa! I'm starting my adult life and I would love to know the world as you have known it. You are actually an inspiration for me and that's why you may be the best people to answer this question that I have: Do you have any tricks and suggestions for living around the world and maintaining the financial level sufficient to have a cool lifestyle? I am sorry if its a little indiscreet but I would love to meet other perspectives and if you could make a video about it, it would be incredible. Thank you very much for your attention! And by the way, keep like you are, it’s great to know that you love Portugal as much we Portuguese do, we love that 🧡Congratulations 🎊

Awesome video. So much in there I have to rewatch. Qatar Airlines are excellent - only beaten by Singapore Airlines...
Does someone know the name of the song playing 21:10? 🙏
