- The squad heads to the Santa Monica Courthouse (pre skatepark fabrication) to skate the ledges. Brad Hayes attempts a manual trick on the stage while Knox Godoy supplies entertaining commentary. Into the night, the boys venture to downtown LA and then to Hollywood High School. A young Terry Kennedy lands a lipslide down the 12 stair rail and Alex "Trainwreck" Gall tortures him with a record over... Circa 2000

So sick! Always look forward for when these vids drop. Even looking back to when Alex and i first met, became friends. I was 12-13yrs old, pretty sure Alex “Trainwreck” was 17 or so, but built like a tank haha. Him and i had rode for a short lived skate shop here in Encinitas which his buddies had opened up in the same center as the infamous Rico’s Taco Shop.. If you know, you know. Lots of cool life experiences with Alex and our shop buddies growing up. They looked after us a lot back then. Have stories for days. While also still being a big Brad Hayes fan growing up to. He’s done so much on the stage and most of it being so far ahead of his time and to this day, timeless! such as all the other incredible things he’s done. Anyways , thought to share. Much love Beagle. Always!

Its one of the great disappointments as a kid was realizing evan had fallen off and wasnt going on to become possibly the best street skater ever
corey bueno I didn’t mean any disrespect. As a kid I was disappointed one of my favorite skaters didn’t keep skating like Herman, Spanky, Romero, etc. As an adult now, I look back at his potential and his sponsors at the time and realize he had a great opportunity to be one of the best ever. Look I realize life happens but man, he could have been SOTY.

a few years ago I had a RANDOM Knox interaction. Right out in front of my apartment building in downtown SF. Bumming cigarettes, and trapped in addiction and the street life. Yet he was of stable mind enough to remember me always skating at Cherry park where i grew up in Long Beach. And that was 20+ years ago! Annoying as well as ruthlessly rude. But when the cameras came on, or the "audience" around was large, dudes like Knox would turn it up to 100.
