I rolled my ankle during a ruck march in Army Basic and my ankle swelled up really bad for like 2 weeks. I refused to go to sick call and just dealt with it. I was one of the road guards, those two weeks sucked running to block traffic, and then running back to catch up to fall back in hahaha
I was a road guard in USAF basic training in’83..certainly do remember this
