I see that these blushes do include "Fragrance/Parfum" on the ingredient list. Did you see if it said what type of fragrance because that’s the part I didn’t see and I can’t quite place it with my nose. Yes. Clean is becoming almost what we used to call, in the fashion industry, greenwashing. People use it to kind of signal that they’re on the right side but they don’t necessarily back it up.

which blush PT or Give is more appropriate for very dry MATURE skin? don't want to look like a clown but want something that lasts and shows up.. looking at the more lavendar blush in Give and also in PT. thx
Okay! You have convinced me! I am getting all three! I was secretly a tad skeptical when I saw that they were two powder blushes however, these are so beautiful 💃🏿 I think Rhianna, Gwen Steffani, Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez are the celebrities that are intimately involved with their brand and showcase their styles. Also don’t forget, Haus Labs started out in Amazon!😮 Then there was the rebrand! I think that’s when Lady Gaga got more involved. I hope Gwen gets more love because I have heard nothing but good things about her makeup. You liked so pretty- your smile is so warm❤
Thank you for your kind words. It is always such a delight to see your comments!!! Yes, the brands you named are DEFINITELY worthy of the celebrity name they carry. I think so many people get jaded by BAD celebrity brands that the celebrity doesn't even wear! But the ones you listed are most definitely different.
I love + appreciate your down-to-earth approach, lovely, bubbly personality, and thorough, helpful reviews! If I can pls. add my 2 cents...layering product on the face to the point of clown-ish doesn't allow me to experience it in a helpful way or to make an informed decision about whether it's right for me. (Just me?) Saturated arm swatches do help to at least see a color's depth and undertone, but on the face I'd love to see blushes applied as you might actually wear them. (Not a criticism, just a request from a fan of your channel, thanks!)
You are lovely and I do not take it as a criticism at all. This has been a really interesting tug-of-war on my channel. When I just applied it normally, notice that is how I was wearing it on the intro and outro, people said they couldn’t see it enough. And then I oversaturated and people told me to do it more and then it came to this and now it’s kind of a silly thing but, I’ve got to be honest with you, I get probably 90% of people who for some reason love it oversaturated. Frankly I don’t always understand it myself but on a UA-cam channel you have to do what people want and not what I want. However, I hear you. And frankly I agree with you. So let’s do this… And I actually used to do this more. Let me start the demo with an applied normally and then oversaturate so that we can have both in one demo. Let me know what you think about that. Because I do hear you and I do appreciate your opinion. And I think asking your opinion is very valuable. Let me know please.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty just noticed your thoughtful reply, thanks so much! That's a great idea/compromise to start 'natural' and build up the swatch...and the best way to satisfy as many followers as possible. It's odd to me that they mostly want such intense, unrealistic swatches but I guess give the people what they want? ;) xx
I for one have to admit that perhaps I haven’t given the brand a fair chance. There was nothing that really drew me in . I think I might try a blush . Great review. Thank you
I was watching one of your videos from a couple of weeks ago and was wondering if you figured out how you got that eye infection. I got an eye infection myself a couple of months ago and believe it was due to using a Tower 28 mascara that was maybe 4-5 months old (certainly not more than 6 months which is the recommended "use by" date). It's a little challenging since mascaras with a lot of preservatives in them irritate my eyes but mascaras without many preservatives can cause infections. So I have decided to use mascaras for just a month or two, and then to throw them out, to be on the safer side. I'm wondering if there are other things that I should be worrying about though.
Lisa, this is such a great question. And it’s actually multi layered. Let’s first deal with the amount of time we keep a product. Oh I have to be very careful of chemical sunscreen in a foundation. Three or four months into it, the product has not gone bad, so to speak, but something changes in the chemical make up of the sunscreen and it gives me breakouts. And I think you’re suspecting that that is what might be happening to your mascara, meaning it’s not like it’s smelly or thick or old, it’s just starts to irritate your eyes. With the eye infection that I got, I think I know what it was. A few things actually. That day when it started I had done an eyeliner demonstration of the new Victoria Beckham beauty colored eyeliners and I had changed three different times and put them in the waterline. This meant that I had to run chemical makeup remover into the waterline of my eyes. That’s not what gave me an infection but I think it really irritated my eyes and then I was using make up brushes around my eyes that had been cleaned But not perfectly dried and I think when the center of a make up brush stays wet for a little while it attracts bacteria. And I think I introduced bacteria into an already irritated eye area and I struggled with that I infection for probably two months. So I threw out all mascaras. I threw out all eyeliners. I scrubbed my brushes and hung them dry in the sun and then sprayed them with antibacterial brush spray from a make up artist. And now I rarely use any sort of make up remover anywhere truly near my eyes. It’s been quite a time so I know what you’re going through.
This is a great question. The Givenchy product is a lighter, airy blush that lays on the cheeks like an angel kiss. But the trade-off is that the component is very hard to close and it is so messy. This product, the powder is not as fine, but they are very flattering and they have two similar shades in different textures which is lovely. That didn’t entirely answer your question but I hope it kind of gave a little bit of perspective
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Thank you. Love how you are able to precisely describe items. Trying to decide which of the 2 blushes formulas to get as they both looked so lovely on you.
@@allibag if you are a Blush snob, and really who isn’t, the absolute best blush of the two is the Givenchy. But, if you want to be able to take it anywhere with you I wanna use it quickly and want to really pretty look, they Gxve is more affordable and quicker to use ♥️♥️
I cannot order this brand from NL/EU, but beautiful dear Rebecca!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 O wow, they are way to deep for me, but cute blushes!!! Yes, arm swatches is not the same as on the face! I have a few of the, now very wanted Melting Powder Blushes from Suqqu (they cannot make them now, they miss an ingredient), this blush swatches different on the arm than on the face, and because it's a cream to powder, or whatever, powder to cream product, on the face, and yes, even Suqqu, it's easier to go overboard with this one, than than powder blush with always gorgeous different colours in it. Suqqu, they are not able to ruin anything there, but the Melting powder blush is not for beginners, i'm not a beginner, but i can go overboard with that one. You are so right, famous Nikkie de Jager, Nikkie Tutorials, from here, from The Netherlands, does not like arm swatches, makeup is for on the face, that is what i remember, than. Not that i watch her a lot, i am of course proud of her as a fellow Dutch, but, 53 years now, her makeup is quite loud for my liking. But, the arm swatches: i love love love them, quite often, well, more than quite often its (almost) the same like on the face, for me than, i am always so super happy with your arm swatches, here and on IG!!!!!!!!!👍👍🤩🤩 Thanks for the beautiful video, dear Rebecca, have a wonderful day!!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes, saw it somehwere, a few years ago, but i also never saw her arm swatching, she puts makeup on her face right away. Not that i watch her video's so much, like i said, so proud of her, and she is so funny always, always joking, also very talented, when she did years ago the makeup of Eva Jinek (best TV host for the more serious tak show stuff here, lots of news and politics), Eva needs light makeup colours, she did that so beautiful!!! She can do it all, subtle, crazy, on her Channel the makeup is so much THERE, like her so much, but not for my age, this makeup. And yes, i believe she said that, don't know anymore when, sorry. But: i LOVE arm swatches,👍👍👍👍👍👍 they mostly give a good image of what it's gonna look on the face/eyes!!!!
Ok ok ok… I have no interest in give as a brand not sure why… I tried the mascara in a sample from Sephora and it was so dry I couldn’t get any on my eyes… BUT I will say that lavender shade is super pretty. I won’t buy it. But if gifted to me, I would use it. 😂 🤪
What? Why do we need scent in our blush? We do not need that. I am one of those people who gets a migraine from many scents, and I take note of how many of your reviewed products contain scent. But honestly nobody should be subjected to so much artificial scent due to the hormone disrupting properties. As a journalist that would be an interesting topic I think.
I am fascinated by it. Just like you are. First of all I am aware of how many people have trouble with it. Secondly, it’s fascinating to me how things are called clean but have artificial fragrance. I’m fascinated by this new makeover of products leaving out talc, leaving out parabens, leaving out silicones. Villainizing certain ingredients that perhaps should not be demonized. It is fascinating to me!
I just can't bring myself to support Gwen Stefani. She said she created this brand to "give" back... What a truly out of touch thing to say. Not to mention her racist Asian comments... I can't do it.

Ive only trued a few GXVE products but i do enjoy them quite a bit....
The Honeymoon Phase shade is actually quite unique. Yes, still pinkish but cooler and more lavender. 🥳
Love it!!❤❤❤
Thank you, Mary!!!
So happy to see how beautiful these looked! Now I just need to decide on a shade! 🤦🏼♀️😂😂 I was surprised to see these were both powders when it launched. Wonder why she didn’t do a cream/powder duo?! 🤷🏼♀️ Oh well, still pretty & I still want! 😂
It shocked the heck out of me too. I didn’t know till I opened them up! But I like to powders together. Call me old-fashioned but I actually think they lay beautifully together
which blush PT or Give is more appropriate for very dry MATURE skin? don't want to look like a clown but want something that lasts and shows up.. looking at the more lavendar blush in Give and also in PT. thx
If you want something with massive staying power and you want it to really show up then you want Patrick Ta. 💕
Okay! You have convinced me! I am getting all three! I was secretly a tad skeptical when I saw that they were two powder blushes however, these are so beautiful 💃🏿
I think Rhianna, Gwen Steffani, Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez are the celebrities that are intimately involved with their brand and showcase their styles.
It's odd to me that they mostly want such intense, unrealistic swatches but I guess give the people what they want? ;) xx
@@Spark1221 and I try it out in Thursday’s video, too!!! I def take all comments and suggestions super seriously and totally appreciate it!!
I for one have to admit that perhaps I haven’t given the brand a fair chance. There was nothing that really drew me in . I think I might try a blush . Great review. Thank you
I was totally like that with rare. I wrote them off from the beginning and came only recently to them.
How do these blushes compare to the Givenchy loose powder blushes?
I assumed these were a cream powder duo like the bronzer in that packaging.
I agree with you! I was pleasantly surprised as I thought the same thing and, deep at hart, I am a powder girl in a powder world.

But, the arm swatches: i love love love them, quite often, well, more than quite often its (almost) the same like on the face, for me than, i am always so super happy with your arm swatches, here and on IG!!!!!!!!!👍👍🤩🤩 Thanks for the beautiful video, dear Rebecca, have a wonderful day!!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
I had no idea that Nikkie from Nikkie tutorials doesn’t like arms watches. That’s so interesting!!!
@@annemarietimmerman7213 I survive doing arm swatches so I should not complain. Haha.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty well you are our super swatch queen dear Rebecca (super happy with it always), and so, so much more!!!!♥

Is GXVE an MLM or not? I’m so confused by everything I’ve heard about it.
Oh no no. The MLM is is another one whose name I can’t remember now. Maybe someone else can remind us. But no no. Not GXVE. You’re safe ❤️
Hahah! Totally understood. It's like, "Well, if you're gonna give it to me...well, I don't mind..." haha.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes so true!
A blush video 😂 No way……😅lol
Hahaha. Here's something not so new....more blush! hahaha.
Hello, Rebecca..Heavily pigmented, too much for me… i like more nude colors. Thank you❤❤
I can understand that! 🥰
I just can't bring myself to support Gwen Stefani. She said she created this brand to "give" back... What a truly out of touch thing to say. Not to mention her racist Asian comments... I can't do it.
Fair. 💕
