Hope everyone has had a great start to the new year and enjoy our very first video for the year.
It was supposed to be finished and out before the end of December hence why we talk about "in the new year" in the video but anyway, here it is now!
Had a heap of fun filming this one and putting it together for you all so we hope you enjoy 😁

Bloody mighty effort carrying your beasts out personably I would break it down in the field and carry out quarter by quarter even if it means two or three trips to the car

Wow big boys hanging in room looks like u will need a bigger house soon some monsters on there I have
had same prob with my shoulder mount didn't measure or take in consideration low ceilings hope to bump into u guys one day in person say g'day prop stay safe and hungry guys love it .

Well done again can’t beat young samba for eating ,try cutting the back strap in to 6 mm medallions and egg and bread crumbs cook quickly in olive oil the best 👌🦌

Again, great content guys. Bloody machine with that samba on the shoulders. Carried out my first whole deer this week. Only a fallow but nearly killed me. 🤪🤣. Worth the effort for the extra meat though. Mount looks great and keep up the good work. 👍👍

I have been exploring and hunting the same area as you guys for a few years now, it's a little hidden gem full of deer, i usually like to walk alot and stalk, only problem is the surrounding area is super thick making it nearly impossible to push thru without too much noise or clear views.
By the way there is so BIG wild dogs around there! Be careful.
Lots of wild dogs around thats for sure, we've only managed to get a couple of them so far 🐕

I'v never been lucky enough to down one yet, my wife and daughter say and refuse to eat it if i shoot a deer . You are great people! I'v had my chances to down a sambar and fellow but the shots was not ethical at that time , I love sausages but will not buy because i don't know what is in them ! So i want to make my own with deer and pork , hamburgers, roasts , I'v always eaten game meat before i was married, I'v now been married for over 28 years! its killing me. i'm in between a rock and a hard place. you's are such a great couple i wish you all the best in 2021, god bless you all. id like to see more processing. any reason you didnt gut before carrying it out? even if steph had a bag to put the parts you wanted to keep.
Awesome stuff 💪So you mean like taking the skin off and actually gutting it? A deer this small is easier to get it hanging up before gutting it so all the meat stays clean. Once hanging up and the belly is open everything is easier with gravity in your favour 😊

Another great video. Can you give us an idea of what the head mount cost you. Considering the amount of work involved i would say not cheap.
Tony's prices are very good for the work he produces. It was around $900 but that was over 12 months ago when we dropped it off and we're priced. Check him out on Instagram or Facebook, you'll see the quality of other animals he's done 👌🙌🦌

What do u carry gear wise in ya day pack and what Forrest do u guys hunt love the area
We don't carry that much, usually just water, knives, lighter, rope, meat bags etc we still need to get a Personal Locator Beacon for the big trips we plan on doing but for the smaller day trips in areas we know we don't worry about it as we have phone service. 😊👍👍

Do yourself a favor and keep the heart for yourselves next time, you won't regret it. Real simple, just sliced up and fried in garlic and onion.I'm flat out boiling water and even I didn't screw it up!

The meat isn’t exactly free when you have to per chase clothes, binoculars, cameras in your case, firearms ammunition but it all pays it self off eventualy
I guess it depends on whether you get top of line stuff, I know what you mean though I am just starting out with getting a license etc....
For what venison is worth, you tend to pay off you equipment pretty quick
