Alan, excellent job as usual. Great video, short, and to the point. You didn't bother us with repetitive information, but you rather emphasized the salient features of this machine. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend FLIBS this year, but I'm definitively I am very curious about this Insetta 35IFC. I've visited their website but I still have some general questions, like price, top speed, time to deliver from factory, etc. Would love to hear more. Thanks again for the great video.
Thanks Enrique. These vids are definitely a team effort and glad you like them. The 35IFC really impressed and the economy is impossible to beat in a CC of this size. Contact Nick@Insetta.com for details. I already spoke with him, so he's expecting your email. Good Luck!
We're in the low 60's with the 400's. The most important factor with engines is not HP, but weight. These 400's have been a great powerhouse and we look forward to outfitting customer boats with a variety of twin-engine configurations from 300-400 HP!
I wonder if they're considering adding the IFC system to the 45C lineup. I've been looking at loop cruising boats, I love cats but at under 45 feet they don't have the cabin space for long distance (comfortable) cruising.
We will not be adding the IFC system to the 45. For a foiling cat to operate effectively, the boat needs to be designed from the start as a foiling catamaran (like our 35 is)! Keep your eyes peeled as we're just getting started!
@@InsettaBoatworks Thank you for the reply. I didn't realize there was that much of a difference in the hull designs of the 35 and the 45 (beyond size that is).
Question on design - was it an option to leave a giant gap in the transom? I can’t imagine anyone with kids even considering a boat with that design. Otherwise, it’s absolutely drop dead gorgeous.
I’m in sales and everybody knows what a dollar is but nobody understands value for that dollar. If you get that freaked out about price then you don’t understand value. I’m thinking the fuel savings alone would justify most price objections. I’m sure the good folks who make these boats could explain the value. Comparing a monohull to a catamaran is apples vs oranges. But the first thing a window shopper will freak out about is sticker price.
@s h You clearly don’t know the market for catamaran center consoles. If you want to buy an equivalent size freeman you’re going to pay more than double and if you want to get the invincible expect to pay a few hundred thousand more. Same size yellowfin/contender/seavee you’ll be paying more as well
@@alquinn3562 Pretty pointed words about not understanding value. I understand it perfectly, and pushing a half million dollars for an out the door price with any electronics or options for a plastic boat is not a value. Spinning the fuel cost doesn’t work. That’s like saying you bought a Freeman because you’ll save money buying fish for food. I’m glad other companies are starting to make catamarans that aren’t so hideous, this is a beautiful boat. I’d say it looks every bit as good as a Freeman or Prowler. But there’s nothing about it that approaches “value.” Cheers
Correct, the foil needs to be in the water to provide its benefits and that's where it stays. We have a video on our social outlets where we filmed inside of the tunnel while hopping up on a plane, have a look here: instagram.com/p/CC9g-UuAzEf/
Seen a lot of vessels in my time and these guys DEFINITELY thought of it all!!!
their best looking boat to date! nice job

Thanks for the kind words Enrique, as mentioned, feel free to reach out and we can get you sorted! -Nick
I took a demo ride. Very impressive.
Great having you out David! Glad you enjoyed!
David how would you say the build quality is I. That boat
I would imagine this boat with 450 r Mercury's will be some ass kicker
What was the top speed of the vessel with the twin 400's. And what is the max HP?

@@michiganengineer8621 While both are asymmetrical cats, they're massively different boats!
Why make the helm seating so long? Its eating up all the cockpit space.

You have the option to put a door, acrylic insert, or net there for safety purposes!
Awesome. I figured that I wasn’t the only one. Now I just need a winning lotto ticket!
can i get one with twin 300 diesels
What’s the starting price on this model?
Starts at $379k with twin Merc V8 300's

Looks like the console is way high for anyone under 6 ft tall.
We have varying console height options, depending on what the owner wants!
why do a sea trial on a flat day at least get some 3 foot waves so can feel what that cats doing
Always hard to time and schedule the shoots with the weather.
Could of shoved the camera over the bow to see a glimpse of the foil, pretty boring presentation.
pete b you wouldn’t be able to see the foil, it’s underwater son!
