Это определенно похоже плач. Точнее, на то, как ты пытаешься сдержать плач, но то и дело эмоции вырываются наружу.
Рыдание отражается в риффах, вздохи и всхлипывания - в потягивании струны. А в паузах... Вы знаете, когда человек сильно переживает, он старается не дышать. Это то, что я вижу в паузах.

Great cover. There’s a video by a channel called The Sound Of Games that has the full OST along with some lost tracks and songs from the Co-op campaign. It’s about 4 hours and 26 minutes long. And after seeing this cover, I think I’ll go cover some Cry Of Fear stuff now. See how long it takes me to cover everything that one vid has to offer.
