How on Earth does TURBO (King Candy), an expert kart driver somehow have the second lowest top speed!? What!?
Got lazy.
They need to sort this top speed issue out because having half the cast totally not viable in ranked is insane

Mine is Mickey, like the low top speed doesn t help but having the boost pow 5 and his power 4 ability compensates that miss. However, it is very much hard to use him after these crew member changes.
Request for a future list, if you like the idea.
Top 3 for each class. Mostly defenders in the total top tier list.

I think we need a separate racer for WIR Turbo. Like Mickey and Steamboat Mickey, there can be 2 different versions of King Candy. His Turbotastic ability in a racing game missing is crazy.

If we do get a balance patch, hopefully they buff lightweights since nerfing racers from B to S tier will make the game slower overall, and I kinda don't want that.
Also to point out is that Epic Crew Members are now more important to be able to gain more top speed more than ever
I am so tired of how This game treats Mickey and the gang. They're the soul reason I play Speedstorm and yet they're constantly treated like dirt by the developers... It breaks my heart
At least Goofy and the Steamboat duo are pretty good 😅
@@dillongeorge5866 True, but I wish I could race as my favorites, Minnie and Donald, without feeling extremely outclassed and useless.
I doubt that's relevant when the P2W already creates an imbalance.
I thought i wouldn't never hate anyone more than Figment.... until King Candy got add, he is a playable trash, never see someone so slow in this game, even when you play with events with recommend level, you still struggle, unbeliveable...
If there ever was a character that fits the bill of annoying to race as and annoying to race against he fits that perfectly. Racing as him he's slow af and against him you will constantly get auto aim sniped by him.
Also noticed that since it took me 2 tries as level 20 to clear the level 20 objective on his event. At least due to having learnt to play him I managed to clear the level 25 objective first try at level 23. But he's the only character that I've had at recommended level and struggled to win with since I started in Season 3.
I think he's pretty good but you do have to turn the corners extreamly tight and boost management is extreamly important

Yeah right, I've Mike's doors, he goes absolutely nowhere, maybe he gets like 10 feet, but, I've gone through his doors and got nothing
It’s largely dictated by where you use it on the track. There are some areas where if you use it before long sequence of grind pipes, tight corners or jumps then it will carry you extremely far.
Unfortunately meg deserves to be on the list. Not only is her top speed one of the worst but fire skill Nerf was a big nerf to meg because that was her big primary skill to help keep her above the better racers.
Fair take, I think the #5 slot could be swapped between Mickey, Meg or Ortensia pretty easily
I agree Meg is arguably the worst racer in the game
Give every racer the same base stats and let us select racer type in the crews setup page so we can be more versatile with our favourite racers, Maybe brawlers can be defenders and speedsters can switch to tricksters? id love to see a brawler goofy and a defender sulley, Let us choose our basic abilities too!

I'm still hoping he gets a Star Chaser event on Friday, May 3rd, as I am very close to getting him to a 4-Star racer (one upgrade away) and I would also like to be able to unlock his Epic crew members, Jose and Panchito.
Here's my Issue with the Game : at some point the Kart Speed is Slowing down for unknown reason even though I've already Holding Down the Throttle Button. At first i thought it was just my Controller issue but it's still happening after i changed the controller. It happens with Every Racers.
I just wanna know if Oswald is viable for ranked. Because I just unlocked him yesterday and want to get him to diamond
What chracters do you think they should add? Who's missing?
Wow so much has happened. I'm a returning player, and as far as I remember Donald was one of the best characters if not the best.

Lol, that sounds like a lot but it's actually just about 1km/h slower.
Donald also gets a speedboost during his charged unique. Just saying in case ppl miss that and that's the sole reason they think he's too slow.
That’s only at lvl 30, and the crew difference makes it wayy more impactful the higher you go
Now I get the why I can't reach rank 23 with King Candy even with a decent level, really awful pilot no matter what.
His special suck, most of the time I get that throwable bomb item and it feel so slow to drive him most of the time.
2:04 He doesn't get a "little bit of a speed boost". He goes as fast as his manual boost during Trailblazer. That's why they don't let you manual boost during it.
Yes but using what is equal your manual boost when everyone behind you gets the same speed boost, but they can also use their manual boost on top of it makes it useless
What makes you think others get more of a boost than up to their manual boost speed when manual boosting while being on his trail?
I don't believe that's why you can't boost. Meg for instance gets a boost that's the same as her manual boost, but she can use her manual boost during it. It doesn't increase speed or anything. But if you get stunned you can at least use it.
It's honestly an issue with a few racers. You should be able to use manual boost whenever, because being locked out of it when getting slowed is really annoying.
Kk didn't think about the stun case.
Case in point, it's stronger than a small boost and it 99% surely benefits both Mickey and opps equally.
I have Mickey maxed out, so I should be fine. As for Minnie, if the Racing were Team-based, then a team with Minnie and Daisy would make it a good "Team Happy Helpers." Just throw in Cuckoo Loca as a racer, and it makes sense.
Incidentally, Minnie needs a skirt to contrast the rest of her racing suit. Certain colors make her look almost naked.
Unrelated to the video but did you see they reverted the stat changes for some of the crew members? Chip and Dale and Pedro give top speed now, and the Fieldmouse bros don't. Shere Khan and the Emperor of China keep the top speed change but Kumu does not. Like, can they at least notify of the changes they make? I literally found out when I upgraded Kumu to 3 stars and now he's back to being useless. If I had known they were gong to revert it I wouldn't have bought so many Fieldmouse and Kumu shards ffs...
I cannot win King Candy's event as him when I'm at the appropriate level. I've been able to win in events even when I'm 5 levels under-leveled in the past. That alone shows me how bad he is, and that's single-player

Just kidding, I'm main Minnie and I think she's too slow.
Margarida is really bad... it was really annoying to level her up to platinum, and I found King Candy slow when I played for the first time. Skyliner, could you ever make a video on how to choose a crew member for any racer team in the game? This has been my biggest flaw since I started playing Disney Speedstorm :/
The tip is using crew members which give you top speed
Donald would like to have a word with you, luckily no one can understand a word he says. lol! Goodness how quick things shift, I remember that it wasn't too long ago, he was on the very top of the list of best racers.

also i think its so funny that 4/5 of the worst racers are from mickey & friends... also in my opinion ortensia should be in 5th place! like yeah she has invulnerability but its still not working propely and mickeys does... but tbh both of em are equely bad xD
Sounds like they tried to copy Mario kart. Making the lighter characters not as good as well as the speedster being terrible. While the heavy characters are good while the other classes are the best ones to drive like defender or trickster. I feel like they didn't think this through as now they will never get any new players because as the game gets older the free character you get and Mickey will all be trash. Making racing online as a newbie bad. So it is basically forcing anyone new to spend money just to be good at the game so they can have fun.
imo, i strongly disagree
for me it also depends on acceleration, boost and in many cases handling (stages like castle and the lilo stitch one), cause someone like gantu against a meg, yeah, he will destroy her on stages like the jungle book one and little mermaid, but the other ones that you need a good handling for the curves, yeah meg can take the victory cause of her drifting (plus she can maintain boost for all the race)
in case of donald and minnie, yeah they're not great, but hey, being a brawler gives you a chance to stun racers if they want to pass you by crashing at them, specially donald, cause of his special, yeah he's slower than a snail, but having the boat, it makes other racer trying not to stun donald, since they can get attacked, so donald has a chance to stun them
again, not great but not terrible either

Ortensia's special is awful, as well as lilo, can be a good stun the charged one, but faster racers will surpass her. While as figment is about his special, yeah of all the characters i mentioned he's the fastest (except for gantu), but when he's in his special, manual boost is locked, and if you get stuned, that's it, you lost all your momentum until the time of the special has ended, and since his acceleration is not good, everyone will pass figment
Figment, Ortensia and Oswald are my worst characters due to their crew members being bad
Prince Eric is really bad, his skill have got to be the worst skill ever, yes it does protect your and auto drives, but it makes you so much slower, while keeping you from boosting, or even stepping on a speed pad to gain more boost, his skill is actually a hindrance more then a help...
his charged skill is pretty much better, u can't deny the boat is annoying
Actually the boat special while it makes you slower still is super useful in tracks with tight turns like Kauai or one of the Atlantica's tracks (the one with an underwater U turn).
It makes you turn perfectly while protect you at the same time.
Also he is a good choice for the Time Trials events.
Is this top worst racers list compiled for MPR? Because when playing all these characters in season chapters/events, they're not so bad. Captain Gantu, on the other had, is by far the worst character (personal opinion). Even with 2-3 levels above recommended, it is still a struggle to beat events. For me, Gantu is so bad no other racer can even come close.
I agree with you they did king candy bad he was turbo and fast in the movie and got to the game and did him the worse bad kit and super slow he should be as fast as vonsweets or close to it and fix it should have been slower since his power up gives you points for being around people
I don't know why mickey and friends character are so worst for the top speed, mickey, minnie, daisy, donald, and non mickey and friends character king candy are the worst top speed in the game, i think i should play them in solo time attack mode
King Candy is really trash. Even at level 25 it was still hard to reach MPR 18. Also because of mixing with higher leveled racers. I am not even going to try to get him to MPR 21 because I have to level him up for that and I will not spend any more upgrade coins on him.

The longer it takes the more worried I am for the games future! It would be nice to see a roadmap with a handful of seasons so we can be reassured they’ve got plans at least to continue for the short to mid term.
I can't for the life of me get my level 30 Minnie Mouse through platinum... smh
They really have sucked most of the Mickey and Friends racers with these crew member changes

he is my favorite racer but these crew members changes really affected his top speed, in last season my Mickey t.s was 6000s because of the crew
