I just want some mATX or iTX boards. Anything with only two DIMM slots and a compact neccessities only size. 90% of people don't need or can make use of more than the single PCIe x16 slot.
If I wanna buy a Ryzen 5 9600x, should I buy a MB like Aorus X870 Elite? I'm totally renewing my charcoal pc, and looking at benchmark this combo seemed to be good. Am I going to pay too much? Would be better or more cost efficient to get a Ryzen 5 7600x and a MB like B650?
Well considering current gen mobo’s are very spotty with QC (DOA board complains on almost all of them) I think I’ll give it a year. The X670 is just fine and won’t be obsolete for at least 5ish years. Especially if the 50 and 60 series GPU’s will be supported. I see no compelling reason to upgrade for a while. Not even MENTIONING the freaking price of mobo’s now.
I have my eyes on corsair 2000D with itx b650E or maybe any new mb, I need PCle 5 for GPU slot and need PCle4 slots for ssd. I will build complitly new PC and budget of 5k Euro but will wait for 2025 Q1 before I buy new PC and my 5800x3d/6950xt will be good untill then.
Why should anyone feel compelled to buy anything? The x670e is more than fine. The x870 is nothing but a marketing scam. The silicon is the same. I would recommend people DON'T buy it and get ripped off.
There are 2 chipsets with the X870E models which should provide more Pcie lanes for more connections. That is my only compelling reasons to buy but even then my x670E board is just fine.
My gigabyte x760 pro motherboard broke and the next one i bought also gigabyte also broke down... will def not buy anything from the brand again. Waiting fir the asrock and msi motherboards that come out in sept 30
Haha my Asrock x670e Steel Legend broke. But I know shit breaks sometimes, I wouldn't mind giving them another chance. Replaced old mobo with an MSI one

So long as the board has ample m.2 slots and built in wifi, sure
plus ideally 5G+ ethernet

Im building a new pc and i got a ryzen 9 9950x and I'm between the MSI x670 gaming plus and the MSI x870 carbo. Any suggestions?
I run a X670E and don't plan on changing anything about it.
I will stick to my asrock steel legend b650 wifi for another year and see what improvements look like.

@@therues7071Doesn’t the X670E have 2 chipsets and same number of PCIe lanes?
So does anyone think its better to get a ASRock X670E Pro RS OR a ASRock X870E Pro RS WiFi!? Does the X670 have the 2 chipsets and more PCIE lanes!?
Gigabyte X870 A ELITE WIFI7 ICE vs Asrock X670 teel Legend. Which motherboards is better ?
asrock
My gagibyte b650 a ax gave up within one month so I’m going for x870 msi proseries to check it out🤷♂️
is it worth upgradeing my x670e motherboard to a x870e motherboard??
What board do you have?
I have bought x870e Aorus Elite
The chipsets on X570's get super hot. They are NOT enough. Dunno about the X670's, but I hear the 800's have TWO chipsets, so maybe this will help.
The x670 and x670e have 3 chipsets, the 870e has 2 chipsets the x870 has 1 chipset essentially it’s really a b850e.
i'll take the b650 ax elite aorus white thanks
Rocking it right now it’s amazing
