My Parents were in small town politics, they did great jobs and corruption finally took their jobs and destroyed our family. I was picked on and shunned by teachers, doctors, people at the grocery store, and kids at school because we were the only Republicans left in office, in town pretty much. My parents were certified and experienced, passionate about their jobs, finally when they found a Democrat farmer who had ni training and experience to replace my dad. They did. After both parents lost their jobs, and after our family broke up and divorced, I decided then I was never falling for the crap again. I also remember the Carter and Regan Election and remember thinking...what's the difference? They look the same to me, esp in the results every 4 years. It's designed to be a distraction, and like a sport really where there never is a winner.
