Perfect vid for me as I have Kreepy Krauly and it's time for an upgrade. I saw the Hayward on THE POOL SCHOOL and he recommended it very highly. I love the fact that the Hayward is quiet as I work from home and the Kreepy Krauly is so noisy. Thanks!!
goaley45 thanks for the comment! A year later it’s working great I did get some high traction tape tires for the back two because I have tile on the pool and they were slipping. I do like it is quiet. The kreepy krauly has all those pulsating vibrations which I agree was noisy and introduced air in the line.
the leaf canister should be on the 1st hose plugged into wall so it won't have to pull the canister around
Yep we made that change long ago, I was waiting for some more adapter hoses to do so
@@TheChanClanLife that canister is not made for easy hook up they sell one made for the auto cleaner hose but I understand use what you have
How long did it last since you shoot the video and is it reliable after 5 years of using it

how to fix, glue, seal the ribbed hoses.; Break way to often; very cheap, thin flimsy plastic. I have a new one out of the box and the hose sections don't last 6 months must be a cure to torn ribs ? easily maintenance on plastic parts; but parts could be made better with good plastic. but that's not the idea! Is there an adapter to use a full size/length pool hose.

It depends if Hayward is running a new rebate, when they were last year I called the rebate center on the form and asked them if Amazon qualified they said that it did and I did get the rebate payment without problems. I’d do the same if they run a new rebate this year
The video shows the incorrect way to use the AquaNaut. The canister needs to be near the wall with the short hose attached between the canister and the wall.
