The “it’s a parasite” argument is so triggering to me. They aren’t thinking it through, they have just heard that somewhere from someone else who didn’t think it through and never considers the full definition of the word.

Maybe instead of saying "they" reffering to pre born babies, say "we". We were all there once.
This is the terminology I use. And I also use individual instead of person or baby or fetus. They are an individual because we are individuals and always have been the exact same individual regardless of how old we are.

Sometimes it feels like my nursing baby is literally feasting on me but I’m overjoyed to be her source of comfort and nutrition ❤
I feel that! 😂 I very definitely feel the nutrients being sucked out of my body as I breastfeed my children. So I simply replace it by taking care of my body and eating as well as I can. Plus, there are sooo many long term health benefits for women who breastfeed for any length of time, and the longer you breastfeed for, the more likely those benefits will be (things like decreasing chances of breast and cervical cancer). Parasites definitely don't do that!

Well the typical answer you’ll get is that the vagina is a magical portal to personhood. Not in so many words. But just keep asking them questions. They often don’t understand our development as humans and don’t realize the fallacy of their beliefs. Which is why I like asking questions. One, it forces me to understand my beliefs better. Two, they begin thinking things through for the first time, likely ever, rather than basing their opinion on what they’ve been simply told. My hope is that it plants a seed.

For context with the census comment, in Australia I think the aborigines were given the vote in the early 1960's and later in the 60's got included in the census.
So just because a government has serious deficiencies in their policies doesn't mean we should treat another human as something less.

You should have asked the girl who asked about the census this question: If a pregnant woman is murdered, does the perp get charged for murder of the unborn baby? The answer is yes. So that is the state conferring rights to the unborn.

At some point, people this age need a reality check! I also had one of those and it helped me because I realised i was REALLY stupid.
Hand holding and coddling is how they got to the situation and unhinged selfishness rampant in society now. Sugar coating everything so it's more palpable going down is not the answer anymore. These aren't 9 yr olds...these are adults that are voting on these issues and passing laws that can make it legal to kill a baby moments before birth...most ppl care more about saving babies than gently waking hard-headed stubborn stupid ppl up out of their delusion. The man who stood around in ask and flipping the camera off while blocking the camera view and got offended when Russel referred to him as a man...that is what happens when ppl give grace and want to treat adults like slow children. It's not helping them and it never has. Why parents send their children to universities is beyond me.
A quarter of them want them to turn out like this. A quarter of them want them to "sow their wild oats" and "enjoy their youth" which are euphemisms for drinking and partying just as they did in the early 90s. The broad majority are probably against this insane rhetoric and are sending them there because they believe that on average it will be guaranteed to increase the future job prospects of their children. If parents took more time out of their day to look into the school system, and revolted against it, professors would not be able to lie to my fellow classmates this much, however with rising inflation and housing prices, most do not have the time to raise their own kids and are giving them to grandma and grandpa or a day care center, much less are they monitoring their kids who they think should be smart enough to operate on their own in the real world.
This day and age? Nah university is not a place where people go to become critically thinking, functional individuals.@@gethelp6271
Unfortunately, there are jobs out there like bookkeeping, that now require a four year degree instead of a certificate or a two year degree. Not because basic bookkeeping has changed, it’s been the same for over four hundred years, but because people equate college with intelligence. Education and intelligence can be two different things, as illustrated above.

Once colleges found out they get paid no matter what by the banks and the tax payers (fed loans) the gates were opened to any warm body to fill a seat. Now some don't even have to provide seats but only a login!

I remember watching, and overhearing, a professor attempting to very gently breakdown a mildly pro-life student, a young Hispanic girl, and convince her that abortion was no big deal -- he seemed to be succeeding. This was at the University of Washington, Seattle, in early 2020, and it was probably the most disgusting thing I witnessed in academe
I do not REMOTELY believe them that it's a *rule* in their class(es) that they're not allowed to show the class materials or the textbook to people that aren't in the class. That's just not true, I'm sorry. I went to college too, & known MANY people that went to college, & that was never, ever a rule - and everyone showed each other their teacher's Powerpoints, their textbooks, their notes, all sorts of stuff - including at my university that was like $40,000/year. (And no, I didn't pay out of pocket for all that, I've never even seen that much money.)
But yeah, they're TOTALLY full of it.
