How to Get TEXT into Excel TABLE - From .txt file or website

So you want to run some analysis and graphs on published data. But it's published in a weird text file or just as text on a web page. When you try copying to Excel, it's unusable and all in the first column.
Sound familiar? Then you need to use the 'Text to Columns' feature in the 'Data' tab of the Ribbon in Excel.
In this video I explain all the steps. I lay them out quickly in the first 20 seconds, then give a minute or so why it's helpful, then around the 2 minute mark I go through with you each step so you can follow along. The last couple of minutes are a recap and request to help with my website costs.
Here's the Met Office data download link you can play with. It's amazing how difficult the Met Office makes finding all the raw climate data!
