What are you thinking? You patio is so stylish, simple and classic it will never go out of style. It doesn’t detract or compete with the Beaty of your garden. I love it! Thank you for sharing. Your garden is amazing!
I love your garden and homey patio , you inspire me to try things I've never done before I watched your videos today and went right out and divided a hosta and my little dog loves your calming voice she actually went to sleep she usually barks til I put on ear phones. you are a delight
😊 Thank you so much for your sweet comment. The furniture is definitely “homey”…we have had every item for almost 10+ yrs now and they are probably outdated….but still functional…so don’t feel the need to replace them. Happy gardening! 💚🪴💚 Ps. I’m so glad you also enjoy dividing plants as it is one of my fav things to do.
You are VERY stylish! Your patio is very classic I think. You picked well because it has stood the test of time ☺️ Your space looks so peaceful and relaxing! Great choice in colours, very inspiring to me! 💚💚🙏✌️🇨🇦
What a beautiful video and backyard. Thank you so much for showing the full overview for a better perspective. It is so helpful to visualize each area you are showing. You are such an inspiration. Your furniture is beautiful and your hydrangeas are breathtaking. Thank you again for showing the the whole yard. 😀
Beautiful garden look fabulous and furniture still looking good after 10yrs. I usually watch Utube on TV but login to laptop so I can leave a comment. I enjoy watching you programs as you present it so well. I added few more Hydrangeas after seeing your garden.
Thank you Charmina! I picked the furniture hoping for them to last a long time and I’m glad I went with them as they have been used rigorously and loved by our family. 💚🙏🪴
Oh thanks for the full view of the back deck. I have been wondering and imagining how wonderful your backyard is. It really is beautiful there. It’s an inspiration (my backyard is raw right now).
I agree that it is nice to get a full view of Tracy’s gorgeous garden, I am trying to recreate the back yard in my garden. Good luck planting up your yard @A Little Garden Up North.
Tracy your garden is simply delightful. I love your patio furniture so much and oh my goodness the hydrangeas are magnificent. I’m coming over for a drink in your amazing garden 🥰 the tulip mixes look beautiful, I’m so looking forward to seeing what your garden looks like in the coming seasons.
WOW Tracy!!! Of course your front yard always looks spectacular. Your backyard though... PACKED for a relatively small space, and it is beautiful. What a feast and oasis for the eye and spirit. Thank you for sharing.
This is so wonderful, Tracy. You show how even in small spaces, you can pack a punch and have a beautiful garden! This gives me a lot of hope. LOL. It's also keeping my patience in check. 🌺🌺🌺👀🥰
Tracey, I love your zinnias in all shades of pink, they look so healthy and happy! Everything looking wonderful despite the hot weather. Your garden furniture is clean and simple and in excellent condition for 10 years! I think your garden is the show and the furniture is better being understated. Always love your garden tours, thanks so much for sharing!
Looking fabulous Tracy ! I over winter my geraniums in the house. They stay well indoors. I love the variegation on the leaves. Hydrangeas are gorgeous.👏🙏🏻
Your front and back gardens are both beautiful as always, Tracy.🥰💕💐 I feel sad seeing my roses and the other flowers finishing their blooms one by one in the garden as well.
Beautiful, such an oasis. I know what you mean about missing your blooms, and the scents and sounds of the garden, but at the same time I think the buzz of anticipation in the spring is so much more sweet after a long dark Ontario winter… (and yes, I am dreading winter 😅) Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden!
Your furniture is great. It shouldn't compete with the garden. You could add some colour by adding seat cushions to your Adirondack chairs (20 by 20 will fit) and the toss cushions on the sofa but that's not even really necessary. Thank you for the tour. Your garden certainly sets your home apart in a subdivision where all the buildings look the same.
You inspired me to plant different types of hydrangeas this year and they are the best thing I’ve done for my garden. Thank you for the inspiration! Your garden is just so beautiful
Thank you so much for letting me know. 🥰Hydrangeas pack so much beauty for so many weeks…and I don’t think there are any other plant that can compare. Happy gardening Lourene! 💚🪴💚
Yes the Little Lime is the star in the garden at the moment for me also! I will say I was not too impressed with the Firelight Hydrangea a couple wks ago (even though it's only been in the ground a few months lol). I noticed a few days ago that it's turning from that dusty pink or rose to dark red! BEAUTIFUL! I can imagine it will be even better in the next couple summers. The thing about PG Hydrangeas is their flowers last so so so long.
I recently asked my hubby if he notices how beautiful Little Lime blooms are and he replies - “which is the Little Lime?” He thought I was referring to the Limelight. 😆
The space is beautiful and the furniture looks great. It’s nice seeing the full view and it seems you can entertain and seat quite a few people at the same time ❤️
Your garden is beautiful and your furnishings look great. No need to replace something if it’s in good shape. Be proud you take care of your furnishings and aren’t adding to the landfill. 🐝🌸
Hi Tracy, just discovered you and want to tell you you're now my go to channel when i need inspiration. I am new to gardening and unfortunately making costly mistakes in zone 8 Texas hot weather. LOVE EVERY FLOWER BUT SPECIFICALLY HYDRANGEAS. I am barely keeping my 4 new plants alive. Hoping i can create a retreat such as yours. Thank you for sharing all your tips 💐
Thank you so much Angela for your sweet comment. Hydrangeas in Texas will probably do best in morning sun & afternoon shade. Don’t forget to give it plenty of deep watering. Happy gardening 💚🪴🙏
We are in zone 5 and would love to grow boxwoods in a container but they’re just not cold hardy enough unlike the hydrangeas which are extremely cold hardy to zone 3 so we do have some in containers. Wish we had room for winter storage.
Wow! Everything looks great. I recently bought a Proven Winners Limelight hydrangea at Home Depot (Stockyards location) and the planting instructions were in English and Spanish. I'm assuming that this tag was meant for Home Depot USA. If anyone outside Canada is reading this, our tags are always in French and English, our two official languages. You are right about August in Toronto this year: too much heat and no rain!!!
I love your choice for garden furnitures they're lasting and great yark update as usual. I'm currently rooting to buy next year's release of Little Lime Punch hydrangea and i made sure i left a spot in my garden for that next summer :)
Lovely!! Those zinnias. And variegated geranium 😍 I don’t know if you shared but is your front garden facing North? My front yard gets blasted by northwest winds. I’m convinced that it’s the reason our Japanese maples didn’t survive.
Hi Stacy, your day lilies are still flowering. mine is done flowering for a while now, do you have any tips for me? thanks and I really enjoy watching your garden video so much!
Wow, you garden always looks exquisite but your backyard furniture is 10yrs????? They look as good as new. How to you maintain your furniture in the winter? Do you leave it outside on your patio in the winter?
Hi Tracy! What kind of Maple was that you showed in the first shot of video? I was looking at the Bloodgood and Autumn Japanese Maples for my front yard but curious what yours was. Also, oh my goodness I’ve been binging your videos because I am in love with your gardens! 😄I think your favorites are the same as my favorites except I haven’t really begun planting perineals yet since we just moved. I’ve gained so much inspiration & knowledge watching your channel. Love your videos thank you so much for sharing them with us!!
This backed up view was helpful of how you have things laid out. It seems like the plants are tight in the beds, but I would imagine you have them planted according to their full grown widths. Are you putting the Quick Fire Fab in the bed or pot? Just curious. You have done a lovely job of designing with all your pretties...Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Marla! I recently planted the Quick Fire Fab in the ground at the front island in one of the recent videos. It is now putting on flower buds…cannot wait to see their “X” shaped blooms…hopefully the weather stays warm enough for them to bloom. 🙏
The set of furniture is perfectly fine, love the style! Love your garden! Looks amazing from any angel. How do you winterized the pots? Seeing a lot of them around your garden. Thank you!
@@disdarkrainbow I try to give the pots a spray or two of water - clean of any leaves and take them pots into the garage. I also keep some cold sensitive plants in my cold room (where temps is close to that of the fridge during the coldest part of winter).
