Quackity being chill feels so wierd yet nice
yeah, it's because his persona/character is so totally different from his actual personality. his character is really energetic and funny, but think of it like this: if you were to ever meet him in real life, this is exactly how he'd behave, bc this is how his normal personality is. every content creator carries an on-camera persona and an off-camera persona, and quackity's off-camera personality is extremely chill :D

That’s very considerate of bad, people who are fine with watching content with swearing has basically the whole package, people who don’t on the other hand, have a limited amount of content. There are people I know who make fun of him for saying ‘muffin’ and other shit like that but I honestly think it’s really considerate and thoughtful of bad for his choice of ‘family-friendly content’

My whole culture are swearing waves sometimes, but only when they get aggravated or something is bothering them. Most of the common ones are the d word and the s word ( sh) so I basiclly have my parts of swearing, yet I don’t do it.

He said that he got a lot of DMs from people saying how glad they were that they found his content because their parents wouldn't let them watch a mcyt who swears a lot. Im from Peru and here the people swear a lot, and I do it but only in spanish with my friends. Then with my family i dont do it cuz its disrespectful. When im with my english friends I dont swear at all cuz I dont really know how to swear in english and I dont like how it sounds, so Im learn too much of bad when I knew he didnt swear. Based on my understanding, it seems that Bad grew up with really strict parents (in a stream w skeppy he said his parents were strict) so he wasn't allowed to watch anything that had bad language. I think this made Bad have only a limited type of content to watch and so Bad wants to make entertaining family-friendly content for other kids with strict parents to be able to watch
I love that bad doesn't swear, my parents wouldn't let me or my brothers whatch anything that had swears in it and would get really agressive and even kinda shameful of us if we did, now that I'm older I've learned english and can technically watch swears but still it kinda triggers me like I'm scared my parents will understand and scream at me again so really appreciate what he tries to do for us :)

@@himankdayal7013 So I grew up pretty much thee samr way ad this person and here were my reasons for not wearing them:
1. I grew up with little money so it was never on the top priority for my family
2. They hurt my ears (I still dont understand it either)
3. Strongest reason was it was weird in my family it was seen as weird or "trying to hide something."
I really enjoyed this stream. I put in on while I was doing something else and it was really nice to just sit with people, even if they dont even know I exist haha. I really enjoy deep conversations like this and it was a pleasant surprise to hear Quackity getting as deep as he did. I am also thoroughly convinced he would be a good parent from their conversation on parenting lol

My entire thought process throughout this video: Badboyhalo's armour is taking damage every time he takes fall damage, isn't it? He's breaking his armour.... He has a water bucket though.... Why doesn't he use the bucket? His armor is loosing durability..... Maybe he has mending and unbreaking three..? Even then though.... What if he accidentally breaks it anyway?

@@lemon_aidz5391 Same, i have never cursed before. once when i was pretty young someone spelled out the f word and i didnt know that it was a curse word so i said it out loud. when everybody started laughing i started crying and i asked why they were laughing. after that i wanted my mom to tell me all of the curse words so that i knew what they were. (i didnt want that to happen again) I have always wanted to keep my record of never cursing (obviously only times that i mean it as a curse word, so not the time that it was an accident) BBH has really inspired me to stick to that goal. I dont mind when other people curse on videos, and my family really never curses either.

If anyone does want to stop swearing, just remember it’s not always necessary. I’ve never sworn because I used to hear it when I was in second grade from the other kids and I felt like they were just trying to be cool.

Honestly good on them for sticking to their swearing morals. I didn’t start swearing until 15/16 and I don’t think I swore around my parents until 17 or 18. Now the only times I don’t swear is around really young kids (I used to be a camp councilor) or at work (depending on the job). Around family I’ve just stopped caring and will say anything. I think it’s awesome that people can set those limits for themselves.

Apartir do 4⁰ano eu comecei a oivir muito no colégio, e as vezes eu falava, mas pra mim mesma, e com o passar dos anos, no 6⁰, 7⁰,8⁰, a maioria das pessoas falam, parece algo normal na minha escola um pessoa gritar um xingamento e anormal quando uma pessoa evita falr. Mas talvez seja mais pela cultura brasileira mesmo, quando algumas pessoas são muito amigas, elas meio que se chamam por xingamento.

Being raised as a Christian, not swearing is natural to me. And to be honest I'd probably swear a lot if I wasn't Christian which just makes me glad I had good parents and role models from church, especially Jason Carruthers, him and his family have always been inspiring
I know this is older. But I thought I'd add my thoughts. I grew up around swearing - I'm used to it. However I'm not one to swear. I've always liked knowing I have the self control not to swear - and having the self awareness to carefully choose words. Even when reading - comments like these where people are swearing quite a bit - I choose different words to say or just skip them entirely. I don't care if other people swear - like Bad said - it's their choice and it's their life. Growing up around it, it's never bothered me much. I admire Bad because he's one of very few people who go out of their way to not curse or swear - and try very hard to keep his content family friendly. Of course he's made mistakes and of course he can't control those around him - so there's a margin for error where his streams have swearing from other streamers - but he's always really good about not following others in that manner.

My parents never cared about my siblings and me consuming any certain content, except for movies and games rated R when it came to my younger sister and that also only came from my mother at some times (she only once in our lives made us turn off a movie though).
We've turned out fine though, despite our parents kinda not knowing what they were doing often resulting in them just kinda neglecting us in certain aspects. It was and is still nice to be able to do stuff and not having your parents be like "you can't do that and that's just because I say so".

I usually watch MCYTs that don't do facecam, because my gaming set up is in the lounge because I like to be around people and my parents are constantly in the living room basically, I cannot watch people with facecam because they'll think that I like like whoever it is, It's mostly my dad though. I usually scroll a bit down till I can't see their face and watch about half of the size of the video and it makes me click off more.

I don't swear in normal conversation, and never around my parents. But if I'm surprised it will be in my head, or if I'm really passionate about something I'll say it around my friends. I don't mind swearing that much, I'm pretty desensitized to it, except for the ones that are targeted against certain groups. And I try not to use the f word much even when passionate because I know that's a major swear for most people

For example, I remember swearing in front of my parents when I was younger and they immediately look at me and start yelling. After that happened I think I cried for at least 3 hours in my bed.
