Love your new wall. I have the same Robert Service book. At one time in my 20s, I had the Cremation of Sam Magee memorized. I still remember parts, but I still pull out my book every October to read my favorite poems. When I was in Dawson, Yukon, I went to Robert Service's cabin, and the docent read his poem My Little Cabin. It was very moving.
Wall looks great! We love popcorn so much that we go to the theater, order the popcorn, and then go home and eat it. Nobody said we have to buy movie tickets to get popcorn! 😂
I have that Robert Service book! In fact, I won a state level One Rating in poetry reading from reading a couple poems from that book. I believe I read “Good Bye Little Cabin” and “The Quitter”. The judges were so fascinated by the poems, they asked where I got them because they hadn’t heard of that author in Iowa and thought he was the best at painting a picture with words. Popcorn is important in my family as well. Every Sunday night “dinner” was popcorn, eaten in front of the tv. My three older sisters made up a song for waiting for it to be ready: Pop, popcorn, pop! Pop, popcorn, pop! Pop, pop popcorn! Pop, pop popcorn! Pop, popcorn, pop! 😅 Thank you for being you and sharing your experiences with me! You’re very dear to me!
@ My parents took me to see the Robert Service Show in Dawson City, Yukon (in the early 80s). It was brilliant! A definite must see if you’re in the area (or watch it on UA-cam). 😁
We seem to have a shopping bag black hole in our house. Then my husband and I keep fighting over the same few bags that haven’t gone into the hole. Hopefully we find them one day!
I don’t have two sides in my sink but I have a disposal, so I always make sure that my silverware is in a coffee cup, so it doesn’t go down the disposal.
I suggest a mesh sink strainer for the garbage disposal side of the sink when can find one. Regarding expiration dates on items in your pantry, I went through our pantry in 2020 during COVID shut down. Found way too many things that were expired. A few were as out of date as what you found this weekend, lol.
I love your wall! I am a bit worried that your books may fall and knock your Snow White figurines. Do you have another object or even one book end to use to brace the books more securely? Just a suggestion. Enjoy your week! 😊
The reusable bags hahaha.. looks like how it is at my aunt's house. Who I live with by the way. We have a lot too plus sometimes we forget to bring them with us and end up buying more. 😂
You, Sherri and The family in Willow are 2 of my favorites in Alaska❤️. And, Violet Vlogs as well! Keep the videos coming and here is a big wish for some more snow ❄️
Also please be careful walking in that ice. My husband fell last year in the worst ice storm we ever had in Springfield Oregon. He hit his head and it was truly a miracle he survived with no long term complications! Praise God!
Again I say thank sherri and adam they got me into reading again
I absolutely agree with Sheri about the right side of the sink.
Your snow is for some reason in Tennessee and we would like to send it back, please! 🤣
You guys need to check out Costco for Legos! As weird as it sounds, I actually thought of you guys when I saw all the different Legos they had. Lol.
It's always fun to change things around. I love books too. And I have also changed out my cookbooks
Love the new set up! I think I had the same SF box when I was a kid

I used to work in a movie theater. Several people would come in just to buy popcorn. Theater popcorn is just the best! 🍿

Always glad to hear that people know who Robert Service is! He is so well known in Alaska, but largely unknown outside of here I feel like

I got a little screen strainer for that side of the sink 😊
I remember a black out in Anchorage. Around 2012? That wind took down the Birchwoods on South Birchwood Loop. It was awful.

We’ve done a switch on January weather. Your cold and snow is here in southern Colorado. 💕💕
How strange, right?! January is normally the most brutal winter month, so this is especially strange
That was a cheap date! Love it!
It really was a cheap date! We will be going back there for sure!

I hear that Sasquatch are prone to stealing spoons, so that's probably why all yours went missing.... (>_>)
We have had cold weather here in pa
I've heard that so many places are experiencing the winter that we're missing!

Glad we're not the only ones who have an abundance of re-usable bags!
Do you keep every book you buy?
Did you meet The Home Free Alaska Family in Willow?
I didn't. I was out there for a work event

Would love to know the brand of the colored storage lunch containers you guys were gifted. I’d love to buy some
