Saw them 17 times in 94/95. Sadly the guitarist Dimebag Darrel was murdered on stage in a band called Damageplan in 2004. The drummer Vinne Paul who was the guitarists brother died a couple years ago of a massive heart attack. They changed the game. Miss them so much.
Gotta call bs on 17 times in 2 years. They always came around twice a year and once with ozz fest. I saw them every time they came to Philly from 92 to 2000 and that was about 20 shows in 8 years
It's hard for me to believe that the vast majority of Thrash/Speed/Heavy Metal hasn't ever gotten the respect that's owed it by the "mainstream." These reaction channels have given it, and a whole lot of other music, a shot in the arm as far as exposure and popularity. What's mostly suggested to the reactors and their channels is the ACTUAL stuff that people have been listening to...And, it's not necessarily what Rolling Stone, Billboard, R&R HOF, etc, would want you to think or buy. They're a bad joke and want to push this three minute, recording industry formula swill that they've been ripping the the kids and young music fans off with for a couple of decades now. They want to tell you what to buy, and what to listen to. Music itself is in dire need of the next GnR, Public Enemy, U2, or Metallica to knock the walls down and lay waste to all of that crap.
Pantera is the most influential metal band from their time - they changed metal and it is much better for their talents. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. THEM. lived and breathed their craft and made other bands play better. It was fun to be in the scene at the time and Pantera pits were the most brutal I ever jumped in - I was jumping in them before Pantera and none compare. Hey Jon, let Dolly talk more - she ROCKS!
Really enjoyed your reaction alot guys. Pantera is one of the most legendary metal bands to ever exist. I love this song and it has one of my favorite breakdowns. Can you plz react to more of there music. RIP to Dimebag Darrell and Vinny Paul, gone but never forgotten ever. 🤘🙏💙😪
Only saw them once at the very first Metal show I ever attended back in the 90s. Hell of a start to a lifetime of going to Metal shows. As for Dime's red goatee you'd think because he's famous in one of the biggest bands ever he'd have people for that. Nope! There's video of him doing it himself without looking or using a mirror! Much like notes on a guitar he was just that accurate.
The actual story behind this song is pretty good... I'm sure someone put the story below. But I still laugh at Dimebags interview and him saying that the guy who had made the comment about wanting 5 minutes alone with Phil truly shouldn't want this to happen cause it will be bad... I love Pantera.
Omg! You should know Pantera if u are in music. Dime was one of the top guitarists in the world till he was murdered in ahis concert. His brother Vinnie Abbot was the drummer and recently passed away too. Rex is the bass guitar and Philip H. Anselmo is the ultimate groove metal singer of all time. He still slays with his other groups Down and Superjoint Ritual and the Illegals. You have to dig deeper. They are history and influenced every metal band since. Serenity to Vinnie and Dime. Love to Philip and Rex.
This isn't a complaint but I notice that the video is ever so slightly sped up. I guess i'm subconsciously internalizing the tempos of their studio tracks.
It's too bad that your woman knows how to react to metal sounds more than you do.... Dude... Feel the music, don't expect it to feel like the soft crap ya all listen to in your cars when alone

17??!? Lucky bastard. I just saw them once at Starwood.
17 times around 94? Have you seen them live with Jason Newsted by a chance???

It's hard to believe that an album this unrelentingly heavy got to number 1 on the Billboard charts.
With zero radio time except planet caravan only because it’s a Black Sabbath cover which the boys did an amazing job!
well believe it

This band saved heavy metal in the 90s and early 2000s
The 90's was an objectively better time.
Pantera is actually from Arlington,Tx
Curt G, always with the Pantera! Way to go, Curt. MORE PANTERA!

Without a doubt, they saved modern metal

Always cool to see you guys! Much love and Mahalo! Pantera are greats! Enjoy the old school gods of “groove metal”
Absolutely Love Pantera 💥
I was lucky enough to get to see them 5 times in the late 90s. Great great great band. Legendary sound. Tons of talent
I saw them live once in 1997. I was lucky to get out alive from that show. No one on this planet can slam drums harder than vinnie paul
Legends! The best to ever do it! 💯
FYI, Dimebag used pink dye and used a spray can, not an actual dye job hence why it was clean
R.I.P. Brothers...Dead,but never ever Forgotten !
Pantera were the real deal , what a band they were
Guitar player is Dimebag Darrell Paul. Drummer is his brother Vinny Paul. Both were gods of their chosen instruments. R.I.P. to both.
I saw them 3 times Live in 1997-98 here in México, one time with Anthrax 2 times opened show to KISS!!
I don't think there's ever been a more dope metal video than this one
Look up why this song was written. Its hilarious. Dudes dad said he wanted 5 minutes alone with Phil and his lawyer said NO YOU DON'T. Lmfao.
Vinnie Paul Abbott (Drums) An Dimebag Darrell Abbott WERE brothers! That's why they were'Tight' musically! It's the same in a LOT of bands!
Pantera will always be the heaviest band of all time
Crowbar Beggs to differ
And plenty of GROOVE, R.I.P Darryl and Vinnie 🤘
Agreed, PREACH brother.
If you haven’t already, I suggest the song Piss by Pantera
Only saw them once at the very first Metal show I ever attended back in the 90s. Hell of a start to a lifetime of going to Metal shows.

Miss yas Dime and Vince. Rock that afterlife! Black tooths up! 🍻
Best Band ever!!!
The best metal band 🔥
R.I.P. Dimebag and Vinnie always
Pantera is from Pantego.
I'll take one note and 5 minutes alone Dolly 👀 🤘
The actual story behind this song is pretty good... I'm sure someone put the story below. But I still laugh at Dimebags interview and him saying that the guy who had made the comment about wanting 5 minutes alone with Phil truly shouldn't want this to happen cause it will be bad... I love Pantera.
There’s a section of their home videos when he’s dying his goatee pink. Just isolate that section and dye away dude 🤣
🔥🔥🔥
We still need a reaction to Avoid the light from Pantera. Great song, and rarely reacted to

You know that the drummer an d the lead guitar player are brothers!😉😉
Pantera = brutally heavy metal.
This isn't a complaint but I notice that the video is ever so slightly sped up. I guess i'm subconsciously internalizing the tempos of their studio tracks.
Headbutted some broken glass
Dimebag Darrell is the best groove metal gutair player ever and it's not even up for debate
You guys don't stand a chance vs this groove.
Man... This dude is the king of bad pauses.
sounds fast
Ugh, you couldn't have paused it at a worse time, lol, oh well.
Pantera > Metallica Megadeth Anthrax Slayer
It's too bad that your woman knows how to react to metal sounds more than you do.... Dude... Feel the music, don't expect it to feel like the soft crap ya all listen to in your cars when alone
Where’s the original clowns? What do you know about metal my dude.
Listen to Pantera kid.... today's music sucks 😪
