Free SSL Certificate for localhost, Enable https on wampserver

- In this tutorial you will learn the simplest method on how to download and install free ssl certificate in your localhost. This will enable https protocol on your wampserver or xampserver.
This https will work and secure (for security) communication over the computer network and prevent man in the middle attack from having access these informations.

did not work for me either. at 4:21 he says, "always remember if you have the php.ini in the etc..." he mentions some file directories I could not hear clearly what he said. then he said "paste it in both files that is going to work" I have it pasted in the php.ini that is in "C:\wamp64\bin\apache\apache2.4.39\bin" where else would i need to paste it? maybe its not solution im looking for because im looking to be able to test social authentication and sign up on a local environment
I'm in the same issue as you. But I thought maybe its because I'm not running the latest version of Apache. I'm using 2.5 for some reason...

Hey all, I don´t kow if this work yet, but the follow path to apache bin have a file called PHP type symlink, that file is the php dot ini file.
I open the file named php file extension symlink on notepad++ and on the top bellow the first PHP , I past
curl.cainfo="C:\wamp64\cacert.pem"
openssl.cafile="C:\wamp64\cacert.pem"
saved and after that I open the php ini o wampserver and clicked to open that, they open on regular win notepad and there was the same file edited , so PHP symlink and PHP ini is the same file .

It should work if you followed the exact tutorial. Make a video and send to my email to prove your claim. Why it doesn't work and the project that your working on that needs the SSL certificate.
