@chris wood 1867 I think man utd fans or even everybody can agree with me the reason why man utd defense is bad is because of Harry Maguire, David de Gea has been saving his team and he needs a solid defensive line but unfortunately he doesn’t so he has to do all the defending pretty much himself, he got multiple POTM just because he keep on saving Man Utd
@chris wood 1867 we can’t play a high line because Maguire is a fridge who can’t run. Also, De Gea does come off his line when he needs to. The only criticism is his distribution and perhaps aerial ability for crosses which hasn’t actually been much of an issue

I can’t believe pundits and fans think alisson or ederson is better this season. He has +7.4 xg which is like insane that means more than 7 goals would have gone in if an average score pl goalkeeper played every game for man united
Alison and Ederson are cleraly better at passing. But De Gea is pretty much in his own level when it comes to shotstopping. Without him we would be in the relegation race this year.
Alisson & Ederson are both great keepers & fully deserved their praises for their contributions for Liverpool & City, but let's not forget who play in front of them...

If he cut out crosses,he would not have to save as many headers,he stays routed on the goaline ,and then has to save those headers that the opposition win ,cut out the crosses and he wont have all those headers raining down on him
@@jon.tarboctarbock1172 Maybe other keepers like Ederson & Allison can cut out crosses, but VvD & Laporta can also defend against crosses, its everybody's job not just the keeper, but the centre backs as well, the keeper & the centre backs need to help each other & cover each others weaknesses, you can see that in Seaman & Adams, Cech & Terry, EvdS & Vidic...
Ok, maybe DDG sucks in cutting crosses, but did his centre backs help? Maguire, Jones, Varane, Bailly, did they help?
