interesting how these simple songs with a simple story resonate throughout the years for people of all cultures who find them a challenge to interpret, yet stay within the song as it was written. they challenge the true musician who wishes to absorb their simplicity without jumping all over the place using gimmicks to replace true talent. the oriental people find these songs a real challenge, perhaps because their lives revovle around simplicity.
