Can I play D dorian above this progression? Because Am, D and E7 are I, IV and V7, like blues progression... And Dorian usually is used in blues. Does it make sense? It works?

You should change that E7#9 to an E Augmented (spelled E, G#, C, E-played on the d,g,b, and e strings 12th frett)

Probably because some intermediate guitarists want to jam without feeling intimidated and the entry solo is fairly good and maybe leaves some guitarists egos feeling inadequate .... just sayin...
Ive played guitars over 50 years...Im learning sax now, and thats what I use it for... Its great!

i didnt edit yet first i ask the permission for copyright and after i edit it, my video is a waterfalls and drone flight in the wood and after approach the waterfall , and i try to found a song from pinkfloyd little dynamic for that i think the start of this song much, i inform you when i have all the film scences ready
