Not to diss this Hawaiian gold company but when I was stationed in Hawaii (Hickam AFB) a number of years ago there were gold sales carts on Waikiki that sold gold by the inch. They had rolls of various designs for sale that way. The problem was that the HPD discovered that some unscrupulous dealers were selling under-carated gold from their carts. That is for example what they were selling as 14kt when checked out turned out to be something like 12kt or 13kt. You always have to be careful buying gold because there are so many ways the bad actors can scam you!

Yeah Jacoje is starting to slip up. He used to get stuff sent out right away now that he has a following he just sits on your order for about two day’s. So total day’s before it arrived five day’s. And that’s with the two day shipping that he forces you to get. Plus he’s always out of chains for a few months.

I also prefer the look of 14-karat gold and think it looks better on lighter skin tones. It also has a vivid sparkle that higher karats don't seem to have. Jewelry is more about the appearance for me rather than the value, so I don't see the point in investing in anything over 14-karat gold if that's what looks good. People who purchase gold as a financial investment should just buy 24-karat bullion because jewelry is more of an aesthetic fashion thing.
