In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. The government probably paid for them during covid and now that covid is receding they don't need them anymore

TI-84 is required for high school math classes. Well over $100 new. Makes me want to know the story of why that's in a dumpster.
@@whiteelephantvideos1343 : Still a waste, given that the TI-84+ can do so much more than most graphics calculators do. You can actually load and play a crude version of DOOM on it.
I think I may still have my TI-84 from the old days. Those are the days when I had to go to the UNH lab to get time on the mainframe (the only computers available), and the two “computer guys” shut away in the printer rooms were long-haired hippies, grumpy about having to answer questions from the unwashed masses.
He is helping the earth more compared to 1000 people with 1000 different ways.

We used to night hunt rabbits with a Q-Beam, 2 million candlepower. We could turn street lights off with them; I imagine that Thor with 10 million candlepower could do it from blocks away!
Not saying to do it, but the sensor is just above the light. Point the beam there, and within seconds, the light turns off.

Got a quick blast of 'up past the nursery', by sunns Michael, great stuff. I first heard it in Low and Clear. We have fishing like that here in the Scottish Borders... Just with less fish.
hey Mike ..I know what you mean about what people throw away. I just had a yard sale with all the stuff i found in the dumpsters and made 600 dollars..Dumpster diving is so much fun and awesome you never know what you will find...Stay safe out there...

there's a lot of steel in an office chair. it should go for shred, that's what i get for them. pull the foam and cover off, and the rest is usually all metal. try heating up the glue on those scanner/scales with a heat gun to help remove it a little easier. sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't.

That Tech care thing is probably an electronic stimulator, it has leads that has little adhesive pads that you apply to theskin and it sends small electric pulses to the muscles.

Walmart has R-134 for about $5 bucks a can. Mine leaks pretty bad, so it’s about 2 cans a month for mine, but it’ll work till winter that way. Stay Cool 🥶 Mikey!!

The small pump , we have those on our diesel tank to pump from underground tank to day thank above ground for generator.
I found a dumpster full of fireworks. The cops would confiscate fireworks from idiots i think and i saw them just dump boxes and boxes. It was the best. Had thousands of dollars worth. It was the beat

I one time went to a car wash collecting returnable bottles and cans and in a barrel the whole thing was filled with un used fireworks . It was cool!

@@Ninja-Mama oh!!!!! It was a while ago and i think it was after the fourth. Yes i had a great time that night. Amazing. Well worth the 0 dollars i spent. Went to the ER twice that year. My mom was so mad. 😂 just joking. I was safe.

08:20 That flashlight will let you see in the dumpsters at night! I can "see" Mike wearing that proton (back)pack.
Mike be careful about plugging in unknown USB drives in to your personal PC. You can put a pice of software on the jump drive that can emulate a keyboard and it will type DOS commands in that can send info to an outside server.
The science project is a van de graaff generator, but missing the big silver bell on top, and belt to generate static electricity.
Keep an eye out. Dell has a computer that is built into the monitor stands. They are fairly new. But, do keep an eye out.
Those squeeze things are quick releases for dumbbells or weight bars.
Those aren't for grip strength Mike. They're to hold the weights on Olympic size bars.

Great stuff. Have you thought about collecting aluminum cans? Just strap a container down in the bed of the truck and as you get them crush them.
