IMO, Halo 5 has the biggest skill gap in any Halo game so far, making it crazy competitive. To me.. that's what Halo's formula is... Hitting shots, advanced movement, map control, teamwork, timing, spawn knowledge, map knowledge... Not just the fact that you couldn't sprint. Hate sprint? That's fine. But that doesn't make the game like COD in any major way. Unless of course, every game in the world that has sprint is all of sudden.. based on COD. (sounds dumb to me). Just to summarize real quick: Halo is not based off COD, Halo formula has changed, but also has stayed the same in a majority of ways. Hate it or love it, it's still an extension of Halo and shouldn't compared to COD until they actually ruin the game. Jesus, I remember when I played Halo to sweat to 50, hang with friends in customs, forge my heart out, then hop on COD to quick scope, and exorcise my colorful vocabulary. I don't know man.. the lines are getting blurred now apparently.
The only downside to H5 is the servers and the fact that they broke the game during the war zone update and it never fully recovered. Hit registration took the biggest hit, but they've done alot to fix it and the issue doesn't really occur all that often. But they broke the BR during that update and the stick tracking still has issues to this day. Its a great game and it started out strong. Some issues just came up during the updating and that turned alot of people away. Or the infamous Ghost reload that any fan of frosty will remember. It showed anyone watching that H5 wasn't fully fixed. On the upside it put 343 into high gear to work that stuff out. I love H5 regardless of these issues and still love a good ranked grind.
I would say you beat bound and Neptune ... 2 of the highest skilled H5 players on earth but then again it’s frosty and renegade... also 2 of the highest skilled H5 players on earth so it was well balanced .
@@quanathan I don’t recall, was that just a timed playlist? Given the gameplay we’ve seen, they are going classic 100% which I greatly welcome. Maybe if you want thruster equipment to be permanent you could have that as a custom game.
I’ll never understand the hate for this game. I’ve played every halo. But 5 has the best mechanics period. So balanced. So smooth. Love it.

Which powerup is better in this map? Camo or OS? You play like going for camo is not worth your time.
I'd say OS, it essentially gives you a free engagement or two while camo can pretty easily be seen and killed.
