I think definitely if you're a skier it's the most fun resort in Ukraine! So many slopes! We might go on one more ski trip this winter, and I'm lobbying for Slavske. I like that it's a bit quieter (and cheaper!) than Bukovel. But it's nice that there are a couple different options, with different vibes, in Ukraine!
That's really true! Last year when we went to Slavske, the snow melted the weekend before our trip. I remember anxiously checking the live webcams each day. We got lucky -- the temperature dropped and it snowed again the day before we arrived -- but it is a risk to go to the smaller resorts!
I have not been there but was suppose to go in 2019 but do to bad weather here in the states i could not go but my friend Malek from Jordan did get to go and had a great time, I plan to go this year and take Tania and her boys to teach them to ski, My biggest ski slop i been on is Sun Valley in Idaho where i live, I wrote you a comment on your other video on the tunnel of Love, Hope to hear back Thank You Gerald
Thank you for your kind words! I was put with Tanya by the ski school, so I don't have her direct contact info. I went to the ski school by lift 2 and just asked for an English speaking instructor. I think she said she'd been working at Bukovel for 6 years, so if you go in with "Tanya, English speaking instructor, 6+ years" hopefully you'll be able to find her! Or just show them that clip of the video. ;)
For skiing, you're probably right -- there are just so many slopes, and it's got great variety! But I have to say for the *vibe* ;) I might choose one of the other resorts.
It's kind of a tie between Dragobrat and Slavske! I love the whole 'getting to Dragobrat' journey and the little village there, but I *really love* the babushki serving shashlik and nalivka at the mountains in Slavske. What about you, @Vladiadis Vlog?
@@moonshineandminibuses9051 I'm no expert. Was at Dragobrat couple times.... in the summer;-)). Awesome place for freestyle snowboarding, I heard. Bukovel is much more developed than Drag.
@@Cola_Dulz I've heard Dragobrat is nice in the summer! A friend recommended it for some hiking last summer, but we ran out of time. Summer or winter, I hope to get back to Dragobrat some time soon.)
Have you been to (or heard of) Bukovel? If you've been to lots of Ukrainian ski resorts, where does it rank for you?

For me Bukovel is the best resort for skiing in Ukraine.
