  • In this short tutorial I demonstrate one of the easiest ways you can use to join two pieces of rope. The sheet bend.
    Enjoy!

    One thing not mentioned that the sheet bend is great for, is that 2 ropes or straps of different sizes can be tied together. A square knot will fail this. Especially useful when you want to tie a strap to the ground, but can’t make a taut-line out of the strap. Connect rope at the end.

    Is this as strong as the "69" knot?

    • @Spo0ky6633
      @Spo0ky6633 Рік тому +1

      The big difference is that you can use this knot whether the ropes are the same size or not. And the zeppelin or 69 knot can only be tied with two ends of the same size.

    NO, Please!! Don't prolong ropes with that!!! ua-cam.com/video/dagg2-If4h8/v-deo.html please see, why this is one of the MOST INSECURE nots!!! But it is fine to pull on a sheet or turpaulin
    Better is to use two completely different colored ropes. Anyway: Thanks for loading up the video!
