Funny as this is how I feel about white dials! I’m a female with 6.4” wrists and wear a white dial 126200 daily. Love it. The majority of watches I’ve worn over the years have been white dials. I don’t love black on me….a bit heavy looking, though I once owned a 16610 for a few years. Now considering a white 116520 to add. Love your new WG Daytona! I also love the RG with ivory dial that’s now discontinued.
I literally realized this week that I really only reach for my silver case & black dial watches. I feel like I am appreciating shape and texture variations more in watches than color variation for the reasons you outlined here. Great video!!
I have been reflexively putting on my black dial Submariner, Explorer, or Daytona after work, and on the weekends. Yes, I really enjoy the various case sizes and shapes... but not so interested in the different color options. A plain Black Submariner, Explorer, or Daytona can do wonders.
Great video as always! But more and more color is being introduced these days - so it’s good to get back to basics! Black and white in my view - like panda
I love the monochrome, and I am gravitating less towards the colored dials. But still have a soft spot for yellow gold. ua-cam.com/video/DlNjshafDzg/v-deo.html
The classic submariner is the best. I've heard watch collectors start with a submariner then try out different watches before returning back to the classic sub with greater appreciation. I feel lucky to have it as my first swiss watch.
That submariner is so gorgeous, totally agree that less is more when it comes to colours!

Nice touch with the double weddings bands!
I do the same. It’s very handsome and provides some elegant textures

Love them! That Daytona is calling to me.
Precious metal Rolex feel silky on the wrist, they really do wear differently. Im not sure if thats because they warm up more or faster .
