I really love VtDA as a setting. So much room for character growth. I must say, I'd be very interested in hearing how Demon the Fallen works out for your group. Conceptually, it sounds very interesting.
I had a teacher in high school who once told us "Find a use for history, or history will find a use for you." A warning of sorts that we're only going to live for so long, and we should remember the high prices, and mistakes of those who came before us. We find uses for history in role playing games, video games, tv shows, movies and the like. Why not, use history... many cool shows often do. Btw, ever seen the "dead man's gun" tv series? It has a cursed evil magic pistol in it, during the wild west.
Wow this sounds like an excellent chronicle, kudos to your player for coming up with that plan! If you are a fan of unintended consequences then this sets you up very well for future chronicles; if the players succeed in uniting the Italians a united Italy could prove to be very dangerous in the future, particularly if they were to ally with the Tzimisce
Thank you! I'll be running Masquerade live on my channel tomorrow. Join VTMYTE and you may get an opportunity to play with me, and other Vampire types.
Great stuff, look forwards to seeing more of this campaign as the last lot you did was outstanding! Will you be putting up the actual game sessions Matthew or doing as you did before a more detailed recap of events ? either way it should be a blinder.
I find Crusader Kings 2 has helped me never feel lost in all this.

I'm running Demon: The Descent. It's my first time trying it!
Sounds like another fun chronicle. The history aspect always makes it more fun and engaging

I look forward to your backpacking trip, my last dark ages chronicle was a road trip from Toulouse to Marseille and this dwarfs that considerably
Hello sir, I'm always a fan of your dark ages recaps - I cannot wait to hear how this goes!
Great stuff Matt, I've missed your Dark Ages chronicle, really pleased it's back.
Most enjoyable! Most enjoyable indeed! I look forward to how this all turns out!
I imagine it's going to get very complicated and messy.
oh how i have been looking forward to this video, been intentionally not watching it to save it for a rainy day.
Good to see this series make a return.
Thanks for saying so!
You are a master of story telling, I would love to watch you work your magic in a Vampire game, Dark Ages or other wise.

I would love to, but I fear I would not give my favorite clan justice.
Gabrielle Taylor in that case, play a clan you like less ;)
I wholeheartedly approve I love history myself but no doubt you are particularly more well informed on this time period sounds like quite a show
Just book learning and the wonderful resource that is the internet that give me my background for this plot.
Nice, did not expect a return, very happy to see one!
I'm happy to hear it :)
Looking forward to next part! : )
Thank you!
Beautiful baby! I haven't had the urge to engage in much rpg stuff online as of late but this stirs the fire in my belly!
Great video
I've always wondered what the political situation of Ireland was in Dark Ages Vampire?
50 shades of caine haha nice one

I won't be putting up the game sessions. I find that recording at tabletop inhibits the players, and not everyone is comfortable with it.

I prefer the recaps. It's like story-time vs watching a game that I can't contribute to.
Woo resurrected recap!
We begin again!
Is there a place we can veiw the character sheets of the players?
I would have to beef up on my history before I ran a Dark Age Vampire chronicle. That might be why I have never ran a game of it.
Can someone please share with me link to this chronicle? Is it even online somewhere?
It's not a published chronicle. I created it for my player group.
