I just cannot hate her music. It's in my head. I grown up with The Corrs, their music has been in the happiest and saddest moments of my childhood and teenage years. I have The Corrs in my veins, and every time I hear Andrea's voice, something deep inside of me makes me smile and cry at the same time. I love her voice, and I love her cover.

I happened to discover The Blue Nile just over two months ago. I was blown away by the original version of the song. By this time yesterday, whilst having a hair cut, a new version floats away. Better? Worse? I actually don't care... I only know... Tinseltown in the Rain has deservedly come back from the past - and I am loving it.... Needless to compare them both... Each one is beautiful... "Oh men and women... here we are... caught up..."

To be perfectly honest, no-one should ever have ever covered this iconic song, however I do believe the universe will reserve a wee place for this effort, it's lovely on its own terms, and you can only admire the love she must have for the original. Any stranger reading this - go listen to the Blue Nile's, a timeless masterpiece x
the blue nile wrote some of the best songs ever in the 80s. annie lennox did an amazing rendition of downtown lights by them. so it is just nice to hear tribute done better than just average. i think the blue nile is too unique to be mimicked so it is nice she put her own stamp on it.

Just a GREAT pop voice. As a lifelong musician and former radio DJ, sibling harmonies are always the best and the Corrs are among the best of those, IMO! A shame she’s so damn hard to look at…the whole family could be ringing bells at Notre Dame!. 😂🤣
