It was Road CC who brought Precision Fuel & Hydration to my attention about 2 years ago. Yes I am salty sweater and their products for club rides at the weekend. I never leave without my electrolyte tablets. I swear by their products and not nothing else for Hydration.
Black Bag & Steel Vintage road Bike Weighing 10KG is all you need to train on. Then race on carbon bike weighing 7kg. The Gains in Vo2 & Strength training on a vintage road bike with black bag is unbeatable.
I'm never sure if I'm over or under salting. I wish there was a quick way to tell. I have white marks on my bibs when I sweat normally, Which says I sweat alot of salt, But is my sweat salty because I consume Too much salt? After Crit racing, my thighs and calves twitch alot but if I eat salty foods straight away, the twitching goes away. So strange.
Stop press: company that sells electrolyte products recommends everyone buys more electrolyte products?! Their evidence is that people sweat when cycling in a sauna?! jeez
DC Rainmaker!
haha yes
So now it seems I need carbs and salt, so skip the cafe and straight to the chip shop.
Love seeing DC trot past
“It tastes quite salty when it comes out my helmet!”

I am currently using Bulk hydration on rides. It works pretty well and have lots of sodium as well as carbs. I think I'm a fairly salty sweater.
I'm a salty sweater. I add hammer electrolyte powder to my head sports drink. Saved my butt a couple of times this summer on century rides!
