11. Mary Burger - Get Off the Couch and Go After Your Dreams!

You're never too old to start, just get up off the couch and go after your dreams!
Wow! If this episode with World Champion Barrel Racer, and Hall of Fame Cowgirl, Mary Burger doesn't inspire you to go make your dreams come true, I am not sure what will.
She began her love of and bond with horses when her dad bought her a pony at 4 years old because she had a disease that made it hard for her to walk. From that point on, horses have been a blessing and partners in both her life, and the realization of her dreams.
She went from not walking, to winning 9 AQHA World Championships and two WPRA World Barrel Racing Championships. Her last championship, won at age 68, made her the oldest person ever to have won a PRCA/ WPRA world title.
Her bond with her horses and her family have brought her through some tough times and she has so much wisdom to share. Thank you Mary, for your wise words and kindness. We really loved this visit with you.
