Nice run through of the pack. I have this pack and its little brother too (the Rush 12). They are good solid packs that should hold up well and yes there is plenty of molle webbing for customizing with pouches as needed. The yoke shoulder strap system is very comfortable. I think your husband will enjoy his new pack. I wish you all happy trails. ❤☮🙏

Excellent Purchase...Your hubby will be proud to wear this dependable gift !!
My Wife bought me one, for my EDC & GHB ,recently in Double Tap color. I use it for everything now...
2:16 ...Those *"little pieces"* are called MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment)
also called PALS Webbing (Pouch Attachment Ladder System)
4:14... That's a good as any , name for those "top front small organization pockets" ..Everytime I open one on my pack...that's what I am gonna call them "Half Moon Pockets"...LOL 😂👍
👀👀💥💥 *NOTE* 💥💥 .. You missed the Hidden SIDE WATER BOTTLE POCKETS on both sides, for a nalgene drinking bottles. 👀👀
    *************************************************
I just ordered a black one (don't like the green , for Grayman reasons) for my 6' 3" Tall, Son and filled it up with EDC items like:
    *WATER Kit*
Kleen kanteen stainless steel Water bottle, lifestraw water filter, stainless steel cup,
    *ELECTRONICs Kit*
Power bank for his electronics, Usb wall charger
    *CLOTHING Kit*
2x pair of socks, Long sleeve sweat wicking undershirt, neck gaiter, gloves, earplugs , bandana, 2x industrial 3mm garbage bags,
    *FIRE Kit*
    2 x lighters, ferro rod,
    *NAVIGATION Kit*
Maps of his area, pencil, sharpie markers, Pocket field notebook,
    *HYGIENE Kit*
Soap, 3x Shavers, Deoderant, Axe body spray, Body powder, Foot powder, Baby wipes, Chapstick , Qtips, Nailclippers, Twizzers
    *TOOL Kit*
Mora Knife, Leatherman multitool, Diamond Sharpener
    *FIRST AID Kit*
BandAids, Gauze x10, Medical Tape, Duct Tape on card, Polysporin, Advil, Gloves , Moleskine,
(He will tailor make his own& add his own items to it)
    *MORALE Kit*
    Pictures of Family
    Deck of Cards
    *MISCELLENOUS items*
    $200 in cash stash
    ************************
Of Course he will put in his preferred items and brands of stuff that he likes, but its a good start.
I want him to be prepared as best as he can....A good EDC / GHB / BOB Bag is a great start.
Now I've got to order some more, for my daughters. What color would you recommend for them ??

He is going to hate this pack. It’s like wearing a heating blanket on your back. Any ice in the water pack will be melted in less than 20 mins. In less than 40 mins, the water will be the same temperature as the heat it is trapping against the back. I bought this pack to go hunting and hadn’t even made it a mile before I was regretting doing so. Outside temperature was in the 50’s-60’s that day.
Ventilation on the back is absolutely horrible.

Oh no, I hope that's not accurate. We are swapping it out with our backpack this upcoming hike. Our current backpack is awesome but it's way too heavy and has no opportunity for a water vessel in it. We did a lot of research before moving towards this one and are looking forward to it. I'll have him post his own review soon!

I am the husband and so far I did multiple hikes and enjoyed the backpack. I didn't have an issue with the temperature of the water. However, if you would like to keep the water cold, you will need to use bottles made for that purpose.
