- In this video install a cube speed short shifter in my R33 Nissan Skyline sedan. The process is also the same for the R32 and R34 Nissan Skyline.
My R33 Skyline already had a cheap short shifter installed in it but it was rattling like crazy and making way too much noise so after doing a bit of research the Cube speed shifter seemed like the best option and i wasn't wrong. This thing is so sick!! I'm really happy with it.

Do you know if this shifter will actually fit in the Rb20det transmission without modifications?
Brill video as always. Hopefully it's done the trick! What else do you have planned for the car in the coming episodes? The £8 gear knob does the trick well. Can't believe there's some out there worth £120, that's bonkers for something that affectively does nothing! 😂
It's definitely better but i think the constant gearbox oil leak might have caused some damage inside the gearbox. Going to change the oil and see if that helps but not holding out much hope 🙁
Either way i'll probably just drive it until either the geabox or clutch dies and then rebuild it while it's out.
Plans for the next few weeks are to clean up the inner arches, make the induction kit, change the geabox and diff oil, change the brake pads and try to source a bucket seat and hopefully get it on track next month now they're starting to open up again 😁
@@LeadFootash23 Sounds perfect. Yeah come June a lot of places will be reopening making it easier for you to get the bits and bobs you need.
