Yeah, that box had a very wonky product identity. I never really understood the reprinting of old cards, the original prints just seem like the best way to collect old cards. I may be able to get behind a set that did a complete and comprehensive reprint, but they usually pick & choose random cards and the set feels clunky or incomplete. Like a complete English print of vending series would be dope.
Cool, haven't actually watched an opening of one of these. How much did you get it for? I know a few places were selling it for around $250, but that still seems a bit high to me.
I think I paid around $260. Even at the time I believe it was pretty high, but I had an arrangement with the store I was working at to get myself and Lore all Pokemon products that came out with a staff discount, so I didn't want to jeopardize that by not buying one of the more expensive items that they had ordered in.
