Hi Gareth, I do understand you not wanting to answer this since your friend's with Tom Campbell. But many spiritual teachers I've consulted over the years, many who have been meditating and exploring consciousness think that Tom is way off with his theory and I agree with him. I think what Tom is experiencing is a reality that he's being shown, only because of his technical nature. I think that because Tom has always been into computers, that he's being down that in his out of body experiences, just so he can relate to it more and better make sense of it. . But I don't think it's even close to the ultimate truth. Advance spiritual teachers have commented on Tom and while they do appreciate what he's doing, they realize that it's he's experiences what he's experienced because it's the only way he would be able to understand it. It's kind of like how when someone has an NDE and they are a strong Christian, they tend to see Jesus. Or how if someone is Buddhist ,they seen Buddha in their experience. I think that's exactly what's going on with Tom. It's really why I don't follow Tom's work anymore. He's a great guy, but his teachings seem void of any spirituality whatsoever, and I really need that "spiritual" connection and I just don't feel the Love with Tom's teachings.
@@down-the-rabbit-hole I actually think Tom would agree with what you have written here. Consciousness shows its self to you in a way that you can understand it. Exactly! Tom understands computers and simulations so that’s how consciousness displays its self to Tom. I think what people seem to miss is that Toms MyBigToe is Toms thereoy of everything. He always says to go discover your own Toe. So I would agree with you. I also at some point in time stopped using Toms model as it just didn’t work for what I was experiencing. That was purely on a feeling level. I wanted more love and connection and the simulation just felt cold to me. Hope this helps. And yes I love Tom too I think he’s an incredible teacher.
