Hentikan Penindasan is a very important album for Malaysia (anarcho) political punk scene. Full-length Malay album referencing local political climate is a very rare thing in this scene where it is easier to copy outside bands. Hentikan Penindasan take the hardcore punk template and made something that is of their own, a collection of songs that budak melayu yang tak pandai cakap english can sing along and relate to.
