Thank you! My machine was stinky!!! I did this and ran the self clean cycle with bleach. The smell is gone and I going to leave the door open after each wash to ensure it dries out completely.

Thank you for the video, I cleaned mine today. I have a samsung eco bubble washer dryer. The washer is fine but the dryer leaves an awful burning rubber/musty smell and so I never use it. In fact I have probably used it 4 times the whole year. Is there a way to fix that do you know? Would appreciate your advice!

I’ve had mine completely apart several times. Once for a broken pulley wheel, and another because the heating element broke. The only thing I can think of is perhaps there is a buildup of lint inside the unit? Was the dryer used in the past prior to the few times you used it? Could also be the element burning off the coating and or lint since it’s rarely used.
When I took mine apart the first time it was shocking as to how much lint made its way inside the compartment. There was an inch of lint which covered the entire bottom of the inner shell of the dryer as well as on the heating element casing. The motor was also covered. It’s a total fire hazard. Next time I take it apart to clean it I’ll post a video. I would highly recommend taking apart any dryer, removing the bin and vacuuming out the lint at a minimum once every two years. It’s no wonder why there are so many dryer fires.
